Mozo Answers - Terms of Use

Mozo Answers is a question and answer forum operated by Mozo that allows Australians to ask and answer money related questions ("Postings"). Mozo is an Australian Financial Services Licence Holder (Number 328 141).

If you read a Mozo Answer you need to be aware that:

• Postings provided by members of the Mozo community should not be regarded as personal advice, are of a general nature only, do not take into account your personal circumstances and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice
• All Postings by members of the Mozo community represent the opinions of the individual submitting the Posting and not that of Mozo. Individuals are responsible for their own posting and as such You should not rely on the advice contained in the postings. Mozo does not endorse any of the opinions expressed by individuals or vouch for their accuracy.
• Mozo may, from time to time, make Postings on Mozo Answers. Any posting by Mozo should be regarded as general advice and you should seek professional financial advice before acting upon any of the information on the Site.
• None of the Mozo community are permitted to make a Posting in the capacity as a representative of an AFSL Holder or as an authorised representative of an AFSL Holder
• Mozo monitors Mozo Answers for conduct by Members that is likely to be misleading, deceptive or illegal, however Mozo will not be liable to You or anyone else for any financial decision made or action taken by You or anyone else in reliance upon any information contained on or omitted from Mozo Answers.

If you make a Posting you acknowledge and/or agree that:

• You have provided Your correct and current contact information that will enable Us to identify You (for identification purposes only and not to be displayed on the Site) and that Your Postings will be archived for a period of two years and may be provided to ASIC if requested
• You are personally responsible for your postings (including any alterations you make to your postings) and you will not include any misleading or deceptive information or carry out any illegal or unauthorised activities
• There are severe penalties for carrying out illegal or unauthorised activities via Posting on Mozo Answers and ASIC or people acting on this information may take action against you
• You confirm that you will not make a Posting in the capacity as an representative of an AFSL Holder or authorised representative of an AFSL Holder
• The Postings by You are not defamatory, do not contain offensive or threatening language, do not infringe any intellectual property rights, is not invasive of privacy, do not contain any unsolicited advertising or promotions, are not illegal and do not contain any viruses or corrupted data
• You own or otherwise control all of the intellectual property rights to the Postings and that Your Posting does not violate these Terms or any intellectual property rights.
• By making a Posting you grant to Mozo a royalty-free, perpetual right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, create derivative works from, communicate to the public, or use for any purpose your content in any form or media. You waive any moral rights that you may have in that content. You warrant that you have the authority to grant this right to Mozo.
• If you have any relationship or interest that you may benefit from as a result of Your Posting(s), by way of the information posted, including the posting of links, then you must disclose this fact in your Posting
• If Mozo has reason to suspect that You are breaching any of its Terms of Use or carrying on any illegal or unauthorised activities then it reserves to right to remove Your Posting or terminate Your membership and if requested make your Posting and details available to ASIC as required by law
• Mozo has reserved the right to remove content for any reason. Mozo takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by You or any third party. You agree to indemnify Mozo for any loss or damage arising as a result of your breach of these terms.
