Having been with the NAB for more than 30 years going to ANZ was the best move I ever made as the NAB let unauthorised withdrawals of $100000 from my account occur over a period of 1 year, with no apologies. On approaching my local ANZ branch the manager and not some lacky signed me up for an account with full and understandable explanations on the spot and I was in business within 2 days. Thanks ANZ.

The interest charges are OK for me to keep track of as a pensioner. I value service and customer satisfaction very highly and this bank has been very helpful, courteous and understanding of my needs ever since my husband passed away. I have now left the farm retired and still find their service up-to-date, friendly and efficient.

With my bank account I get unlimited free transactions all for one low monthly account fee. I can overdraw $100 if money is tight before pay day and often the money is back in there soon enough to waiver the associated fee. It can be used as a visa debit account, which gives me the freedom to shop online or by phone with my own money. The interface for internet and phone banking makes it almost unnecessary to go to a branch, but when I do the staff are always able to help; fast and effectively. I can even transfer money to another account with the same bank by knowing only their phone number. Much easier than writing down and often losing BSB and Account numbers.
