The ANZ Access Advantage account is your standard bank account with unlimited ANZ ATM access, internet and phone banking. It has a $5 monthly service fee but this is waived if you deposit $2,000 into your account each month.
There are no minimum opening deposits or minimum balance requirements with an ANZ Access Advantage account. You'll get unlimited transactions from ANZ ATMs, phone and internet banking, full branch access, and EFTPOS.
As with most everyday transaction accounts, the ANZ Access Advantage account has minimal interest on balances: 0% on balances under $50,000, 0.01% above $50,000 and 0.02% over $100,000.
The ANZ Access Advantage account comes with a Visa Debit Card and PayWave access, so you'll be able to make transactions under $100 by simply flashing your card or phone. Plus, Visa debit transactions are covered by ANZ's Falcon Fraud Protection monitoring, so you'll have peace of mind when online shopping. You'll also be able to make payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay and Fitbit Pay.
The ANZ Access Advantage is a great everyday transaction account option, especially if you're after full branch access on a regular basis, as all over the counter and teller assistance is included in the $5 monthly fee.
The monthly account fee will be waived if you deposit over $2,000 into your account each month. Fee waivers are also available to those who are under 25, over 60, a full-time student, receive a disability support pension, have an eligible ANZ home loan, or have $50,000 or more in an eligible ANZ account.
The ANZ Access Advantage account comes with a $1,000 daily ATM withdrawal limit, so you'll need to plan in advance if you're going to make any large withdrawals.

Banking with ANZ has been very easy for me. I met with a bank manager years ago and set up 3 separate accounts, a savings, spendings and online saver. I was directed how to use each of these to ensure the best interest rates. I have, over the years, incurred extra $ because I know how to use my accounts. Online banking is easy to use with all information at the ready. Customer service has been exceptional. Especially one time my money started disappearing after someone had hacked my account. Funds were returned quicklly. Very positive experience with ANZ.
