Honest, best rates, great customer service
I have been with a few banks and bankwest seems to be by fair the best. I seem to have more trust in them then the big 4 banks and the customer service has always been great in store. I have never had to wait. They also don't call my phone for sal... Full review
I have been with a few banks and bankwest seems to be by fair the best. I seem to have more trust in them then the big 4 banks and the customer service has always been great in store. I have never had to wait. They also don't call my phone for sales pitches or selling credit cards. They seem to simply, no fuss and do a good job at what is important - keeping fee's down and promotes an honest message. I recommended them to a lot of people I work with and everyone has changed banks. The no fee atms are also a huge bonus.

I love this product. I have recommended it to so many friends. The fact that you can use all the major banks and BankWest ATM's without incurring any fees, means I have not paid a fee in over 3 years, vs fees of between $30 and $50 per month, when I was with Westpac. Then the trust of a small overdraft without fees, for those rare but occasional times when you forget to transfer month. How great is that! Love, love, love, this product. Only scored lower than perfect because obviously it's not linked to any rewards program, which would be nice. But that's my only complaint.

The main reasons I like Bankwest are their low charges, time to fix any overdrawn transactions prior to being charged any fees and the automatic overdraft of $100. They also have very professional courteous staff who don't force sales of various "add on" products and services to a customer. Just plain,good old fashioned service with a friendly smile and a friendly "hello".
