I love my Commonwealth debit card because it allows me to shop online using my own money. I am terrified of having a credit card because I know I will keep using it until it is overdrawn and never be able to pay it back. This way I have the convenience of a credit card but the restraint of my own finances. The thing I hate about it is that I live in a small town and there is no commonwealth bank ATM here and the supermarket only allows $50 cash out, so for larger sums I either have to pay the $2.50 it costs to use a non-commonwealth bank ATM or take it out in $50 increments.

When you have a Direct debit come out of this debit card it takes up to five days to clear, even though you can see the funds are there the whole time! Full review
