Community CPS is one of Australia’s largest credit unions. Across the ACT, South Australia, regional New South Wales and Western Australia, Community CPS has 36 Personal Financial Centres dedicated to sorting out the finances of its 180,000+ members. Community CPS offers competitive personal loans and savings accounts, home loans to suit first home buyers, refinancers and investors, plus access to the worldwide MasterCard credit card network and more. Other services include telephone and internet banking, Bank@Post, BPAY® and foreign exchange services. In November 2008, Community CPS merged with United Credit Union in WA and now carries on business in WA as United Community. And most recently, in January 2010, Community CPS merged with Companion Credit Union in NSW and now carries on business in NSW as Companion Credit Union.

Easy to use, basic account. I've had it for years
It's a basic everyday use account. No interest, no fees. Easy to use and I like that. I love that I can have the Visa option on my eftpos card. That is the best part. Full review

Excellent Customer Service, & trustworthy banking

The good thing about the Community CPS, is they're not like a normal bank. They connect a lot more with customers on a one-on-one basis. Instead of your fees & charges, they give you a certain amount of usage of your transactions on your account for a free limit, until you reach that limit you'll be charged for each transaction made. That's the only disadvantage. Overall they're a great bank, would recommend them to family & friends

Card replacement fee is a deterrent.
I haven't shopped around, but I'm disappointed they charge the customer to replace cards. In doing so, they have deterred me from regularly banking with them, so I'm not sure if they have altered their pricing, but I was charged $10 to replace a l... Full review
I haven't shopped around, but I'm disappointed they charge the customer to replace cards. In doing so, they have deterred me from regularly banking with them, so I'm not sure if they have altered their pricing, but I was charged $10 to replace a lost card. Other financial institutions I have dealt, haven't charged for this service.
