I have been with APIA car insurance for over 10 years now and have found them to be reliable, honest and helpful in all dealings with them. I have had two [2] claims with them in this period and they have handled my claim with diligence and courtesy. The ease in which the claim was assessed was terrific and the car fixed to my satisfaction was great. I also retained my number one rating and the premiums did not rise at all. I have no hesitation in recommending this insurer to anyone.

Had 2 major accidents, (not my fault), one car written off and the other 90% damaged. Both times I was looked after by APIA wonderfully well. Am very pleased with them, although maybe the premiums have gone a bit high. But in my case, worth it! Full review

I am a severe pain sufferer so I need my insurance company to be easy to understand and easy to contact (not waiting for ever) and for the whole process to be simple, I can not speak highly enough of APIA, made the only car insurance claim in my life and they were great helping me all the way and because of my disabilities doing all in their power to help me, I also have home and contents with them and they were great to the flood victims (I was fortunately not one) their quote are reasonable and have ability for for-night payments if required
