        This is a fantastic card with some great benefits, particularly for international travellers with the insurance and frequent flyer points. It's a bit annoying having 2 cards, but the extra points on the AMEX is great, I just wish I could get those points on the Visa and not need a second card. Customer services from ANZ for this card is great, they've helped me out quickly with a few things and while they did make some mistakes, they more than made up for it with some extra benefits to apologise.

        It's pretty good as I use my card for all purchases, the only catch is the annual fee, it sucks but I have taken advantage of the points for flights and this has worked extremely well, off to the Gold coast in early June.       Full review

Their Platinum Card has some benefits such as travel insurance BUT points earned are halved ie, one must spend $2 to earn one point on the frequent flyer program. It is expensive enough to have the card with its benefits but to reduce its value is terrible.

        NEVER use ANZ credit card again, there is no protecting to the card holder. You can only dispute a transaction for 75 days from the day you purchased, but all other bank allows you to dispute transactions for 460 days. Recently, I need to disp...       Full review 

        NEVER use ANZ credit card again, there is no protecting to the card holder. You can only dispute a transaction for 75 days from the day you purchased, but all other bank allows you to dispute transactions for 460 days. Recently, I need to dispute a transaction which is about 10 months, because the merchant did not delivery the products as they promised after a long time. When I tried to dispute the transaction through ANZ, they claimed that they cannot help for the dispute because it is more 75 days. However, I am also a merchant myself and we already received a chargeback from our customer for transactions more than 12 months some times even 2 years, the bank still disputed the charges. Then I call NAB and ask them what's their terms and condition for the dispute, they clearly told me that the card holder can dispute transactions up to 460 days and all bank should govern by the same rules from Visa and MasterCard. However, ANZ has their own stupid rules that give card holders not protection. So, if you currently have a ANZ credit card or want to get a ANZ credit card, please think it again. Do NOT use ANZ credit card again.

        The ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum offers a good ratio of Qantas Frequent Flyer versus dollars spent and your earning potential is uncapped. There are also some great benefits such as 12 months extended warranty on any item purchased with your credit card, 3 months insurance and there is also a price protection policy should you find the same item cheaper elsewhere. This is a great credit card if you love earning points and pay your balance in full every month. It is not so great if you are one to rack up a huge credit card debt and pay it off slowly as the interest rate is quite high. In summary, this is a credit card for a rewards junky and not your average shopaholic!

Their fees and charges are on par with other banks, but at least the Breakfree package gives us a discount on our mortgages. The rewards are usable and easy to claim - giving us a genuinely free $500 of fuel (roughly) per annum
