Went out of their way to give comfortable service
When I went into the branch, it didn't feel like a bank. I felt like I was in a movie, playing the part of a VIP investor with a personal bank representative....yet it was all comfy and casual like visiting a friend's place. Amazing! Full review

Very helpful staff and there to assist you.
I like the frequent flyer deal as I work towards going overseas next year. What I accrue will help me upgrade to fly overseas. I like the fact that you get points for paying off your credit card as well. But there again the interest on purchase... Full review

I like the fact that you get points for paying off your credit card as well. But there again the interest on purchases is high. I have not looked at other banks for to me it can be too confusing to figure out who has a better deal but still rewards you with frequent flyer points.

The offers on the Platinum are much better but the annual fee is through the roof. They really have no clue ANZ and they think that we have no idea. It won't be long before I switch banks. Full review

Good card, easy to use and well accepted around the world, and I like that it has an easy access iPhone app to regularly check balances and transactions. Also like that its connected to Qantas Frequent Flyer. Don't like that the interest rate is so high and it charges an annual fee. Also don't like that new customers are now getting a better deal - why not look after your long term loyal customers too with rewards and discounts???

No incentive to have this card - cant use the frequent flyer points with Qantas anyway... Worst customer service of any company I have ever encountered. I have just transferred the balance to another card and will be closing this account pronto! Full review

I was once a loyal ANZ customer, but too many times have incidents occurred, sometimes maybe even just attitude from their staff...that I really wish it was easy to give them the flick. I'm absolutely certain their credit charge interest when you are just a bit late paying, is one of the highest. I do not trust and intensely dislike ANZ.

I'm very happy with the anz gold card it's widely accepted and I get qantas frequent flyer points. I make good use of the 55 day interest free component and always direct debit payment in full so I don't get caught with interest charges Full review

This is a specialty card in that it offers rewards in the form of Qantas frequent flyer points- this was the reason for getting this card in the first place. The fees and interest rate are relatively high but I was aware of this when I signed up.... Full review

Last month I had some extraordinary expenses which took me marginally over my credit limit, I am very displeased to find an over limit fee added, and will challenge this. If I don't get a satisfactory result I will have no hesitation in transferring my balance to a new provider.

cons: interest rate pros: looks after you well. I received a call asking if i had made a purchase of 92cents on a specific date. I said no and that i would not use my credit card if it costs cents. They wanted to warn me that it was possibly a fraudulent transaction. They explained in further details. They asked if it was OK to cancel my card and they would re-issue a new credit card. I said yes to prevent further fraudulent transactions. Awesome service.

Obviously the rates are far too high, they could be dropped at least 5% and the would still make millions in profit. The rewards are a benefit but if you worked it out it would be a very expensive way of travelling. So really they have it all tied... Full review
