In a commercial world where the use/necessity for a credit card is becoming ever more compulsory, we need to be able to turn to our banks for a tool that will enable us to carry out our everyday activities in such a world with ease, confidence, and accountability. I have found my NAB Gold Card to be just such a tool. It and the bank have never let me down!

It's a trap
I like NAB - I have savings account with them and am very happy there - however the credit card is taking $100 a month and I just cant seem to get it paid off!! I get upset if they advertise 1/5% rent on new customers but is not willing to switch ... Full review

I just think the interest rates and fees are over the top. To me there are no pro's and cons worth having for anyone that does not travel and the only time you hear anything from them is if you are late with a payment. Full review

Pros: convenience, normal interest rate, pay off fully on monthly basis is great value. Cons: not able to pay off fully will incurring interest for 55 days! Full review

Dislike this product. I have been with them for over 2 years, and there is no care about whether you stay with them or not. They don't provide you with any incentives to keep you as a client. They don't reduce your annual fee/ nor are they able... Full review

My Visa Gold card has been great, especially as it is packaged under a "Choice Package" which means I get it for free with discount rates etc. It is also linked up with Qantas rewards points which has worked out really well. Full review

I transferred money from one of my other accounts once and placed it in credit but was charged for taking out cash even though it was my cash and the account was in credit. Their policy is still in place to charge for any cash draw from credit card accounts. Not happy...

Mastercard definitely gives us the space we need.
I love my credit card because when I do accidentally go over my limit, I don't get charged any fees for exceeding my limit apart from the normal interest rate. I don't think there are any traps!!! Full review
