St George

St George is Australia’s fifth largest bank, and is in the process of merging with Westpac to create a banking mega force. The merger won’t change the St George brand, which will be retained along with the bank’s focus on customer service and community support. St George customers will also benefit from things like being able to use both banks’ ATM networks without paying any extra fees. So if you want a bank that’s good with people and good with money too, check out the St George range of credit cards, bank accounts, savings accounts, home loans and personal loans.

I got this credit card because it was the lowest interest with a reasonable yearly fee, and they put up the interest rate on the first statement which as it turned out was before I even got the card. pissed off there should be a law that stops a bank advertising a set rate and make them keep that rate for a set period of time – Ruth from Western Australia, a St George credit card customer.   Reviewed 17 days ago

What i dislike is that all banks say that a cash advance is when you physically go to an ATM and withdraw money from your bank, hence "cash", and that you get charged for that transaction. They forget to mention when you transfer money from your account to pay for a credit card with the same bank they charge you a "cash advance fee" so credit card holders beware... – aroha from New South Wales, a St George credit card customer.   Reviewed 17 days ago

I have recently had fraudulent transactions on my credit card and the customer service representative was incredibly helpful and arranged to cancel and re issue my credit card. I'm very happy with the service I'm receiving from St George. I just hope they reimburse me for the fraudulent transactions as it is over $100! – Danielle from Victoria, a St George credit card customer.   Reviewed 22 days ago
