I read and hear lots of negative comments about the major banks in terms of hidden fees and charges and difficulty with communication, both at a physical branch and online, but I have found the ANZ offers an incredibly good service all round and have been so easy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

ANZ is just another of the big four but is always first to raise interest rates and last to lower them plus they have never yet met the reserve bank interest rate cuts, no I would not recommend them. Full review

Nice staff and very informative regarding products

Flexibility and Professional
I like this product because I know my home loan repayments are fixed for a year with todays unstable economy plus im unemployed but there is opportunity to put only one lump sum of up to $5,000 if I have spare cash. Hopefully when I get a job again. Full review

Hate the ANZ with a passion.
The ANZ told us we were able to take a *home loan holiday" as we had hit a slight bump in the road with our finances. No questions asked, no paper work to fill out just don't pay your loan repayment for 3 months. Doing backflips thinking how great... Full review
The ANZ told us we were able to take a *home loan holiday" as we had hit a slight bump in the road with our finances. No questions asked, no paper work to fill out just don't pay your loan repayment for 3 months. Doing backflips thinking how great our bank was, we needed to ring back a couple of days later and we were told there was no such thing as a home loan holiday. It was simply a deferral of payments and it would be reviewed after the first month. Recently they have come out and said they will choose what to do with interest rates regardless what the RBA recommend. How is this working for their customers and how did they get their home loan lender of the year title? Is it solely based on number of sales?. We are changing banks as soon as we can.

Poor loan, satisfactory service
I would have to say this is the worst type of loan to take out, as this is a fixed interest rate home loan established prior to the Government removing the fees. There is no way out without paying excessive fees. Full review

Don't trust them to do what they say.
The product is ok, however the bank's failure to rectify the issue when a Manager did not do what he promised, makes me distrust and dislike ANZ intensely. Full review

BALDIVIS branch are closed on a Saturday now. When you do go only two tellers open at a time. Long waits to see someone if it's not about a general inquiry. Full review
