Small improvements would make them great.
The product was originally a fixed rate home loan, but since the fixed part finished and it has gone to variable it does not seem very competitive. Due to working full time I wanted to talk to someone over the phone, but they always call in busine... Full review
The product was originally a fixed rate home loan, but since the fixed part finished and it has gone to variable it does not seem very competitive. Due to working full time I wanted to talk to someone over the phone, but they always call in business hours and then tell me they will call after 5.00pm but no one ever calls. I am not a finance expert and need to rely on my bank to help me make good decisions and I think NAB could do way better in helping me have the best type of loan. I would like to change banks, but not sure if they would all be the same anyway...

We got our home loan through NAB as my father was an employee there and we received family benefits in terms of our home loan and accounts. The best part about our package (the Gold package) is that when travelling overseas, there are no fees for withdrawing money & travel insurance is provided! That is a massive bonus for frequent travellers.

I like this product as it allows me to make additional payments and make payments on a weekly basis without penalty. It also allows my savings to offset the interest accrued at the end of each month. This product allowed me the flexibility I wanted in a home loan, whilst still offering a competitive interest rate.

This product served our needs but I was disappointed that they advertised if we went with this package they had the best interest rate and the night before we signed up an ad on the tv was advertising the greater with a better rate. NAB matched th... Full review
This product served our needs but I was disappointed that they advertised if we went with this package they had the best interest rate and the night before we signed up an ad on the tv was advertising the greater with a better rate. NAB matched the rate but only after I chased it up. Still check around for competitive interest rates and let your bank know if they are not the best.

Yes*The Comparison Rate combines the lender's interest rate, fees and charges into a single rate to show the true cost of a home loan, based on the loan amount and loan term you entered. Fixed rate loans assume a 3 year fixed term. Different amounts and terms will result in different comparison rates. Full comparison rate schedules are available from lenders. Costs such as redraw fees or early repayment fees, and savings such as fee waivers, are not included in the comparison rate but may influence the cost of the loan.
