Yes on enquiring for a 5,000 dollar personal loan was turned down flat as soon as they found l was on a disability pension so l asked what about 3,000 dollars and 1500 dollars of my own as security and again a flat no can't help you. This is fant... Full review
Yes on enquiring for a 5,000 dollar personal loan was turned down flat as soon as they found l was on a disability pension so l asked what about 3,000 dollars and 1500 dollars of my own as security and again a flat no can't help you. This is fantastic from a credit union that l have been with for over ten years. And being on a pension is the securest form of income you can't lose it unless l die. If l did not need the money urgently l would not have bothered but no bank wants anything to do with me and that goes for any finacianl institution too.

I have been with this credit Union for many years now, even when they done a merger with CUA... The tellers are beautiful,especially the ones in Preston Vic... They helped my husband and i with a loan to cover our GE loan which was taking forever to pay off. The low interest CUA offered was fantastic.. we were actually paying money off the loan and not just covering interest. CUA even had small loans for pensioners that only required a $20 per fn... and allowed this every 6 months. To have a bank with a friendly face,someone that says hello, someone who took their time and showing you all that you needed to know, is so very hard to find. CUA are certainly the best in my eyes.

Not mainstream like others which is unique & welcoming which is also smart because they leave that hint of curiosity in our mind...great marketing. Did i mention the part where they don't charge you a thing to open/have an account with them rich ... Full review

Great interest rate, fair customer service.
PROS: Their interest rates was one of the best out there and even better than the 4 big banks! Very happy with this product. Any additional fees were clearly outlined. CONS: They took too long to give me an approval answer. They say it takes on... Full review
PROS: Their interest rates was one of the best out there and even better than the 4 big banks! Very happy with this product. Any additional fees were clearly outlined. CONS: They took too long to give me an approval answer. They say it takes only 24 hours to give you a decision but it took them 3 days to get back to me and that was after I called the bank consultant back to query what the delay was. Also be careful with their pushing of the insurance on this product, I tried to cancel mine and was told by the banking consultant that if I did that it would create another days delay because they would need to issue another contract. I contacted the underwriter directly to cancel the insurance.
