  The customers service is up to date on keeping in touch with our home loan, the interest rate are a bit to high at a rating of 7.9% we are paying just over $2,000 per month, we are going to be glad some day to be dept free.       Full review

  I like its versatility and ability to make extra payments, withdraw from loan and the offset account. To reset fixed loan is no extra cost. They are competitive but they do charge a monthly fee. Overall I am happy with my mortgage at Adelaide Bank       Full review

  While their interest rate is at the higher level, compared to a number of other lenders, the customer service and flexability in helping me solve some payment issues has been fantastic. I have been on a "Hardship Payment" scheme with them for the last 6 months, which has allowed us to keep our house. So yes, they charge a higher rate, but I wouldn't change, due to the other major banks lack of compassion.

  The inflexibility of the accounts. Having a broker means the branch members wont help you and the brokers keep putting you back to the bank in difficult situations. No help. Why on earth one can't do anything other than through Australia Post when...       Full review

  I have been the adelaide bank from day one and they have been great. The reason i chose them is that they were the only bank the gave and my husband a chance when other banks didn't. I had a loan for 25 years.   I have found Adelaide Bank to be very proactive, customer focussed and accommodating. When we had an issue they never said No but worked with us to find a solution that best fit our needs. They constantly made proactive calls and made us feel like a valued customer. There is a lot of competition around these days and what defines you is your customer service.   A fixed rate home loan with 100% offset account. Now that's a great product! There is a $10 monthly service fee on the home loan but none on the offset. You can use the Bendigo branches & ATMs free of charge!       Full review

  A mortgage is one of those things that once you have it you want it to be a trouble-free as possible. Adelaide Bank have been constant in their communication with the change in interest rates so we always know what is happening. Interest rate rises have been inevitable when dictated by the Reserve Bank but in fairness they have always passed on any reductions to us as well. Their Qld branch, Barnes, have helpful staff who do everything they can to make transactions and communication easy.

  Competitive rates, an offset account, online banking and you can even access online banking at the branch. Plus, they open at 9am and some branches are open on Saturday mornings. The staff are heaps friendly. Now that Bendigo bought them out they still haven't amalgamated their banking systems - not being able to view all your accounts on one site is a bit annoying. Also, they should take the lead from Commonwealth Bank and have paperless deposit transactions - filling out the deposit slip (on both sides) every week to bank my pay cheque is somewhat time consuming.
