  Adelaide Bank are terrible - They have high usage fees, even when I do the majority of my transactions online, charge monthly fee's and charge $40 dishonor fees when other banks have removed all such fees. I am about to leave them after being a loyal customer for over 30 years since they were the Co-op because they refuse to listen to the customers and insist on bleeding money out of me instead of showing some loyalty in return

  I think that if it is a working or savings account that there should not be a limit on transactions. With Adelaide Bank, after 5 transactions they start to charge you. Keeping in mind that if you have any direct debits, they are counted as a trans...       Full review

  I have been with Adelaide Bank for 15 years now after making the switch from another institution (who shall remain nameless because they make my blood boil) and I have had all my queries answered promptly and they dont charge me any hidden fees and I have never, ever had any problems with them the entire time I have been with them!   I like the bank product. I have found that they have a great customer service section and are very helpful. As their only branch is in Adelaide ( and I am in Sydney) there has never been an issue to depositing funds either by posting them the cheq...       Full review 

  I like the bank product. I have found that they have a great customer service section and are very helpful. As their only branch is in Adelaide ( and I am in Sydney) there has never been an issue to depositing funds either by posting them the cheque or depositing at the local Post Office.   There aren't many options for people who have less than $1000 in their account without being penalised each time the balance falls under $1000 but I don't wish to change as I can't be bothered to then have to inform all of my direct debtors etc......       Full review

  There are very few branches available even with Bendigo Bank. Being able to use Suncorp ATM's without charge has helped to reduce account fees.       Full review

  The bank and the people are OK. The problem is the mssive amount of fees they charge. I have paid over $300 in 'too many transaction' fees in the last financial year. It's just ridiculous. Their internet banking is excellent.       Full review

  They do not tell you fees upfront, only once you have signed. its anoying, their product is bland and is not at all competative with others and if you have your savings account linked to a homeloan you cant get out of it.       Full review
