      If you need a "necessary evil" then American Express can provide it to you. Keep your nose clean with them and they will give you a good run! I wouldn't like to fall out though. Their original Gold card was terrific but the GFC sure reined in the ...       Full review 

      If you need a "necessary evil" then American Express can provide it to you. Keep your nose clean with them and they will give you a good run! I wouldn't like to fall out though. Their original Gold card was terrific but the GFC sure reined in the time to pay! It still is a fall back for those like me that have over-extended on Visa or Mastercard. Amex credit cards are very heavy on the interest and I'm sorry but wiser that I got one. However they are a friend indeed if you have the need.

      The card is now increasingly difficult to use as businesses refuse to accept the card. The fees are double other similar cards. And lastly don't attempt to call customer service as it takes 20 minutes to get a real person.       Full review

      The Qantas Amex card offers $1 to 1 point without limit which is quite good. The only problem is not many places want to accept Amex. The Internet security is very basic, but you can't purchase anything online, so it's ok. You can schedule ...       Full review 

      The Qantas Amex card offers $1 to 1 point without limit which is quite good. The only problem is not many places want to accept Amex. The Internet security is very basic, but you can't purchase anything online, so it's ok. You can schedule to pay the balance online through direct debit from your savings account which is very convinent. It doesn't offer real time transaction, unlike NAB, you can only see your transaction 2 working days after your purchase. You can increase / decrease your limit online which is very convinent. Overall it is a very good product especially it offers no fees while it's on promotion.

      I am trying to acrue Qantas frequent flyer points and as such I find this card to be fantastic. I wouldn't suggest anyone getting this card though if they are not prepared to pay the monthly card balance off though.       Full review

      AMEX, start reducing your merchant rates so more smaller businesses will start accepting your cards! it drives me nuts when places don't take AMEX, or when they charge a surcharge. Surely you can start to be more competitive with your rates, bringing it alongside what Visa and MC charge. at the end of the day it's us AMEX users spending more money on your card and not our seconday MC or Visa's!
