      Need to refinance out pay out my ex wife. I needed confirmation of loan to sign paperwork. Aussie rep said no ploblem you got loan for sure so I signed to get the ball rolling. Once I was bound Aussie declined and said we cannot get finance. As a ...       Full review 

      Need to refinance out pay out my ex wife. I needed confirmation of loan to sign paperwork. Aussie rep said no ploblem you got loan for sure so I signed to get the ball rolling. Once I was bound Aussie declined and said we cannot get finance. As a result it cost 4 months to find another loan $ 3500.00 interest as late payment to give ex wife I had to pay her lawyer an additional $1880.00 + my Lawyer $800.00. Thats just for late payment. Now if I knew loan was not to be approved i would not have signed. All this to pay ex $91000.00. It cost me over $6000.00 in unnessessary cost. All this to keep the family home. Just to mention she walked out left me with 3 children took youngest used him as a pawn. I ended up will all children 2 years ago. So because of all this christmas is a little lean.

      When the other banks tell us to get a home loan we had to have more money saved with them. Aussie gave us a loan as we are pensioners and it was our first home loan and we were over 40 years old. We were over the moon.       Full review

      Although the interest rate was competitive when I first joined, they soon became outdated and expensive as other banks lowered their interest rates. Not only this, but when I tried to contact them about some issues I had with my loan, I had to call them upwards of 5 times, and it took them almost 2 months to get back to me. Poor rates, poor service, poor value.

      The product hasn't been to bad actually, the customer service has been a bit questionable at times. Where all conversations are supposedly recorded and you would think when talking to phone consultant they would be making notes. But no notes taken...       Full review

But no notes taken after 3 phone calls and then still kept getting more phone calls to sort payments out which had been sorted apparently.
