      Bank SA is on a level playing field with the big four banks, with charges and service. It used to be for the average south Australian now it is for the people with money that is why I changed to a credit union       Full review

      Rates are good, always pre-warned of monthly payments, any extra fee's an when your bank has been overdrawn. Will never bank with anybody else as BankSA is my bank.       Full review

      I have had little problems with the state bank and I have been with them for most of my life. It really depends on the staff in the bank and their attitude to the type of service you get. The were very helpful my first time going overseas last...       Full review 

      I have had little problems with the state bank and I have been with them for most of my life. It really depends on the staff in the bank and their attitude to the type of service you get. The were very helpful my first time going overseas last year and taught me things I didn't know. The charges are too high for a once of year fee and if you forget to pay a bankcard bill. I think if you pay your account on time 99% of the time and forget once or twice they should allow you for that mistake, especially if their has been ill health and death in the family.

      Banks make so much money from consumers with interest rates on all products. I think they should all wave the annual and administration fees, which would help the consumers considerably, and the banks would still get their millions annually!       Full review

Several years ago I inadvertently missed paying my monthly statement of $3000+ and when I did a few days overtime, they did not charge me a cent. Since then I have made auto payments. Like everything else, you have to be aware of the way things operate. When I asked for an increase in my 'allowance' there was no problem.

      the credit card is a Platinum and they offer no real rewards other than free travel insurance, and free product insurance. I use the card exclusively and if I did this with say CitiBank card, Id have free flights.       Full review

      bankSA mastercard, has a very low interest rate and annual fee, always seems to be consistently below the other competitors, had the card- this product for well over 15 years. would have given a higher rating but lately over the last six months I notice that they are always maintaining their phone banking system over the weekends, it used to be every month, now it seems like every weekend. I have not been able to get any money out of teller machines or transfer any money via phone banking or use the card while im overseas on the weekends due to the constant system upgrades, most inconvenient when you want to pay for a hotel bill and meal on your card when you go out on the weekends!!
