The best part is you can get your credit card in groovy colours, but to me most credit cards are the same, this one has no points reward program attached which is a shame with the money I spend.

BankWest, albeit far, far away from most of civilisation, are wonderful! Their customer service (phone and any branch I have ever been into) is amazing. They have the most helpful staff who really know their stuff. Although I've been in a queue on the phone and yes, it's frustrating, my frustrations quickly dwindle once a proud representative of BankWest answers my call. The product I have reviewed is a low rate Mastercard. GREAT! Low fees (and they don't just say that!), an easy website to use and I've never felt like my business isn't enough for them. They have never tried to ram home loans etc down my throat with empty promises of being able to look after all my financial needs. All I have with them is a credit card and I'm happy with that. Woulnd't look anywhere else.

This bank is inflexible in its attempt to assist customers, bound up in procedures which are not customer friendly.
Its advertising does not match the reality of what actually happens in banking transactions when face to face is required.

I love the Convenience of this Bank!! The Service is always Great!! Products and prices are Fair! Their online banking is the most easiest to use in my opinion, I have 4 different bank accounts and 3 credit cards and Bank west is the best so far!!
The only con for BankWest is their processing times as on my statements, when the date I purchased items are not the actual date. This needs to be looked at, then this bank would be perfect for me:)

I like the no charge for the gold card. I do like the ANZ credit card as you get to pick your own picture and change it as often as you like.

I see it as a bank, just a place to hold my money, but I do not like the inflexibility like rejecting an overdraw by ridiculous amounts such as 43 cents. However their locations and new mini banks inside other shops are very convenient and always filed with helpful staff.

I like it because it automatically gets paid every month so if I never have to pay late fees. It has a large credit amount so I don't have to worry about "maxing" it out.
I did prefer my Visa card - I had no choice in changing over to a Mastercard. When travelling overseas we could take advantage of the Aussie dollar with Visa, but not with Mastercard.

This product is competitive in the open market - but what is extra is the support from the company. Bankwest contacts me if anything seems amiss with my account. It's almost as if they have someone looking after me. There is a personal touch which I have never found before with a banking institution. The local branch people are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. If they can't work it out they keep trying until there is a satisfactory outcome. For a bank - they are excellent.

Bankwest customer service reps are helpful, english, and available. online banking is easy and secure. fees are minimal. I'd rarely recommend much but bankwest are great.
