  Constantly being charged overdrawn fees on direct debits on the same day (at times-it's been a couple of hours) that my husband's wage is transferred in to the account despite being loyal customers for over 7yrs and having spoken to our branch manager and made an agreement that he would waive the fee if we guaranteed to bring the account back in to credit within 24hrs. Despite having to make several complaints, we've been informed that the rules of the BANK have changed and he can no longer do this but neglected to inform US of this. We've also had our Visa card used fraudulently on a couple of occasions and have had to waste precious time & inconvenience physically having to go in to the branch, fill out mounds of paperwork, wait several weeks for it to be processed only to be told that there were no guarantees that our money would be returned and only on one occasion it actually was, but it was almost 6wks and we had to get new cards & go through the added hassle of changing our details with every financial institution we deal with! Not impressed at all and would have already changed banks if we weren't anxious about having to rely on our bank details being chnaged urgently by our employers in time for all of our incomes to be accessible without delays, let alone having to change ALL of our banking details with numerous financial partners!!   Bendigo Bank go that extra mile to remain a genuinely caring and service orientated bank. I have a business account and a savings account with Mooroolbark, Melbourne branch and I can honestly say the combination of very low or no fee accounts, fantastic down to earth service and great options are a winning package both for the local family/person as much as any business.   I have asked my bank on many occasions NOT to send me ANY letters or statements because I keep an eye on my account on the internet, but they seem to not be too interested in saving waste and trees or the environment. I the local ATM should break down I would have to travel two kilometres to the branch to do any banking. Being a senior citizen this is hard to do and I would have to wait for the ATM to be repaired which could take a week. This ATM is found in a major shopping centre and so there would be many more like my self that would be inconvenienced in this way. Repair the ATM's within 24 hours or if the machine has to be taken away to be repaired then they should put a new one in at the time of removing the old one. Reviewed 15 days ago

  Bendigo hss very little different to the big banks fees vary depending whether you do a withdrawal at at a bendigo bank atm or over the counter. Fees are charged for both let alone if you use another banks atm. they are no different to big banks with over charging on fees when they overdraw an account more to charge the fee than if they covered the dollar amount that is short of the payment, (For as little as $5 to cover they charge $26 to not cover it therefore they overdraw the account $21 instead of $5.)
