      When I first opened the account it was with the Adelaide Bank which has since been taken over. Being a longstanding customer with the Adelaide Bank who were a user friendly bank there seems to have been a change in attitude and a distancing from it's customers. They have now become a "follower" to the big banks in these unstable economic times. I think they could take the opportunity with new products and show the rest of the banking sector how a small Bank benifits it's customers compared to the large outfits.

      I like the guys and girls in the banks I have visited as they have always been friendly, efficient and know what they are talking about. I have two accounts and my everyday acc is a passbook. I do some internet banking,paying bills etc,. which by the way is fast and accurate. When I need to update my passbook acc instead of using multiple passbooks they just print it out like a statement, doublesided, which I think is most cost efficient, as I already have transactions online. I am most pleased with my bank.

      Bendigo bank has the most safe & secure banking online by using security token systems. It's user friendly, not complicated, never goes down, available 24 x 7, open on saturdays, rates are very competitive, offers great product extras, eg car insurance at a very reasonable rate, branches everywhere, reliable, trustworthy, helpful & outstanding customer service follow-up & branch Managers, after banking with all the others,eg NAB,CBA,ANZ,Westpac. I would never consider banking with anyone else but BB, now & in the future. I will continue to refer my bank to everyone I come into contact with, business or personal. I'm completely satisfied with Bendigo Bank & what services & products they offer

      I have banked with Bank of NSW, ANZ, Commonwealth, Bank of Melbourne, State Saving Bank of Victoria, in the past. However, since banking with Bendigo Bank, I have had full trust, support, and convenience of banking. Since the Bendigo Community banks have opened due to the big bank withdrawing their services, and branches around the Country, I have heard nothing but praise for the way Bendigo Banking has gone. It is good to be able to also talk face to face with a staff member, and not have to use the phone, or ones computer.

      Bendigo is really good but there are not enough present in WA which makes it harder for its customers. Moreover, their internet banking system is really poor and you have to buy a 20 dollars token which is annoying as it is easy to break/loose       Full review

      Bendigo Bank is one of the very few banks who still offer a Christmas Club bank account. So if you're wanting to save for a your Christmas holiday, this is an excellent account to have. You can withdraw your money from December 1st with no fees, but if you wish to withdraw at any other time of the year, there is a charge - a great incentive not to withdraw!

      Bendigo bank offers the best customer service I have ever had with any other bank. They know my first name. I have never had to line up for more than 2mins and if there is a line up, even the manager will come and serve you. I have never experienced this service with any other bank and will never change again. They are also open later hours for those of us who work past 4pm and are open on Saturdays AWESOME!!

      Each month my account would be overdrawn by 1 or 2 dollars and would be corrected by me within a week. The bank would send out threatening letters each and every month, asking me to put my account in order and that I would be charged interest on ...       Full review 

      Each month my account would be overdrawn by 1 or 2 dollars and would be corrected by me within a week. The bank would send out threatening letters each and every month, asking me to put my account in order and that I would be charged interest on the O/D amount. I advised them I am on a disability pension and that my payments are fortnightly so would fix ASAP. To cut a longer story short, I ended up closing the account as was fed up being threatened over $1 or $2 dollars. I might add that they tried to more some money out of me to close the account, of which I said NO WAY, just close the account. WOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER RECOMMEND OR USE THIS BANK.
