  The Bendigo Bank provides good service and low fees and is a great place to bank. The only downside is the number of ATMs and branches. There are a lot less compared to the major banks.       Full review

  Many banks advertise customer care. In my experience, Bendigo is the ONLY bank who actually walks their talk. I've had accounts with four different branches in Melbourne and Queensland and they are ALL consistent in their service. They’re efficient, genuinely friendly and helpful.   Bendigo Bank is truly the best!!! When things go wrong as they often will, you are treated respectfully and they are willing to right any wrongs at the Banks expense... not yours. They are always transparent about their fees and charges, and multiple policies reap rewards. Beginning as a Building Society, they have expanded to sit comfortably alongside the larger banks without the same greed often seen there.   Ratesaver is a great working account and easy to use for bpay and all transactions for transfer or loan repayments. Statements are clear, easy to understand and can be reduced to only when necessary. not too much paper.       Full review

  The biggest negative is that as Bendigo Bank is based in NSW all mail has to go through their central office so if items are sent to the wrong branch they have to go back to the central office to then go out again even if the branches are in Qld s...       Full review 

  The biggest negative is that as Bendigo Bank is based in NSW all mail has to go through their central office so if items are sent to the wrong branch they have to go back to the central office to then go out again even if the branches are in Qld so this adds time to each transaction.

  Bendigo bank has a proven track record in helping the community through times of need and desperation, which can only be applauded, but unfortunately that is where their generosity stops. As a single mother in a small isolated community, my experience along with numerous others in this low-income bracket, are constantly being left with overdrawn accounts due to their account fees and overdrawn charges. It is us as a whole that disadvantaged by a 'community" bank that rewards its members like this.

  The bank itself is great! They contribute to the community and have hardly any fees but a lot of the customer service reps are a few stubbies short of a 6 pack, whenever I have had a problem, I have had to explain it several times :S       Full review

  We have been customers of Bendigo Bank since they opened in Mareeba. We have bank accounts, home loan and business accounts with them. They are absolutely fantastic. I can talk to the manager at any time, the tellers are always helpful and know there stuff. I can't speak highly enough of Bendigo Bank. They also donate thousands to our community.   When I first opened the account it was with the Adelaide Bank which has since been taken over. Being a longstanding customer with the Adelaide Bank who were a user friendly bank there seems to have been a change in attitude and a distancing from it's customers. They have now become a "follower" to the big banks in these unstable economic times. I think they could take the opportunity with new products and show the rest of the banking sector how a small Bank benifits it's customers compared to the large outfits.

  I like the guys and girls in the banks I have visited as they have always been friendly, efficient and know what they are talking about. I have two accounts and my everyday acc is a passbook. I do some internet banking,paying bills etc,. which by the way is fast and accurate. When I need to update my passbook acc instead of using multiple passbooks they just print it out like a statement, doublesided, which I think is most cost efficient, as I already have transactions online.   Bendigo bank has the most safe & secure banking online by using security token systems. It's user friendly, not complicated, never goes down, available 24 x 7, open on saturdays, rates are very competitive, offers great product extras, eg car insurance at a very reasonable rate, branches everywhere, reliable, trustworthy, helpful & outstanding customer service follow-up & branch Managers, after banking with all the others,eg NAB,CBA,ANZ,Westpac. I would never consider banking with anyone else but BB, now & in the future. I will continue to refer my bank to everyone I come into contact with, business or personal. It is so nice to have old fashioned service when they know who you are when you come in, and I can make enquiries over the phone directly to the branch to someone who knows us and our business.
