  Debit cards are safe, you are only using your own money but still have spending power without the risk of carrying large amounts of cash with you. Too many people get into trouble by spending money they don't have and pay huge interest bills on credit cards. Most of the time they are buying items they don't really need.   Bendigo bank has great low interest fees and all the qualities of a good and trusting bank. Although one con is that interest fees tend to be better at bigger and more competitive banks.       Full review

  I was a customer of another bank. I won't say who but one of the biggest. With them, i was getting charged fees for everything. Since i left them and went to the bendigo bank, i haven't had to pay any of the penalties that I was getting before. No...       Full review 

  I was a customer of another bank. I won't say who but one of the biggest. With them, i was getting charged fees for everything. Since i left them and went to the bendigo bank, i haven't had to pay any of the penalties that I was getting before. Not only that the staff seem much friendlier and the manager even sends out christmas messages on my mobile phone. I really do enjoy my dealings with the Bendigo Bank.

  I dislike this product. Although it is very convenient and easy to use, when at Coles, Safeway,McDonalds etc, for a purchase under $30 you do not need a pin number or signature. I believe that this will make it easier for people to steal our m...       Full review 

  I dislike this product. Although it is very convenient and easy to use, when at Coles, Safeway,McDonalds etc, for a purchase under $30 you do not need a pin number or signature. I believe that this will make it easier for people to steal our money, and if our bank cards get lost, our money could be cleared out very quickly. I would like to see more security measures on our bank cards. people are just becoming too lazy these days and do not have the time to type 4 numbers onto a Pinpad.   I use my Bendigo Debit card worldwide. No need for cash or travellers cheques. Seamless interface with home bank and can be used at most ATMs when I travel. It's the only card I need.       Full review

  We have been with Bendigo since the branch first opened in Hurstbridge. I have never had a problem with my card at all, there has never been a problem with my statements and if I have a query it was answered straight away.   I love the low fees. You get a $4 rebate each month so I rarely have to pay fees as long as I don't use another banks ATM. There are not many branches or ATMs so this is often difficult. Their customer service is ok but there are a lot of things y...       Full review 

  I love the low fees. You get a $4 rebate each month so I rarely have to pay fees as long as I don't use another banks ATM. There are not many branches or ATMs so this is often difficult.   The bendigo bank is awesome. I would never change. The most I have ever been charged bank fees is $2.00. They even overdrew my account to give me money when i got mugged in the street. Would never change banks.       Full review

  The Debit card with the Bendigo Bank is convenient, practical and can be used online with confidence. Accepted everywhere, no fees charged when using the credit card function - full online banking facilities with excellent updates and security emails. Easy search functions to print one or all transaction histories. There is also a very quick and easy phone banking service to transfer money from different accounts, this function I use on a regular basis and I am never caught short.   I initially went with Bendigo Bank after a long stint overseas. I had been with Suncorp Metway since it was Metropolitan Building Society. Having seen Bendigo's customer focussed ads, they seemed to be a good alternative. What I found was not sterling customer service, but virtually no ATMs or branches - and high fees for using other ATMs, EFTPOS and monthly account keeping fees.   They should abolish the $99 fee to sign up to pay anyone over the i/net. They should also do away with the monthly fee. This card was once a standard bearer in its class but is falling behind even some of the traditional banks'cards.       Full review

  I got this as I didn't want to keep using my partner's card to purchase stuff on the net, the bank informed me that I would only have 1 fee a month of $3.00. When I recieved my first statement is had other fees on there to of $11.00, and each month is different the highest being $18 or $19 so just be careful getting a debit master card from this bank.

  It's very flexible, I can get cash out from supermarkets/dept stores and the fees are non-existent. I can use the credit option on my card and it uses my money from my savings. I'm not charged as I would with a true credit card which charges inter...       Full review

I'm not charged as I would with a true credit card which charges interest. I am very satisfied with my bank and they know me by name. That to me is awesome customer service. They are never in a hurry, always happy to please you. I can't speak highly of all the staff at my bank. I would recommend my type of card to anyone. There are no hidden fees.
