      Because it's a community bank with face to face contact. great advice and they go out of their way to assist their customers. Not like the big four banks. The big four are all corporate, now doing back flips to promote "Old Fashion" service to lur...       Full review

The big four are all corporate, now doing back flips to promote "Old Fashion" service to lure customers back. Old customers have long memories and won't go back due to their scaling down of branches in the country. Go Bendigo!!

      Bendigo Bank are horrible. Their interest rates are through the roof, and they refuse to discuss variable ones. I had a personal loan with them and it was nothing but a nightmare from start to finish. They blocked my account and then tried to char...       Full review 

      Bendigo Bank are horrible. Their interest rates are through the roof, and they refuse to discuss variable ones. I had a personal loan with them and it was nothing but a nightmare from start to finish. They blocked my account and then tried to charge me to have it unblocked so I could pay money into it! Everytime I wanted to pay some money off my loan it took me half an hour of arguing with the teller to have my account unblocked so that I could pay the money to them. I am not happy, and do not recommend them to anyone.

When I applied for my personal loan they were freindly, supportive and professional. I have confidence in their product and was contacted by sms to attend seminar recently.       After shopping around for a personal loan to buy a car, we found bendigo to have the lowest interest rate and knew what they were talking about when we had questions. Some other banks such as ANZ and suncorp did have time for us and the other banks we visited were helpful, but their interests rates were not competitive. Regardless of what city we visited, bendigo was very helpful is securing our loan.
