They charge excessive fees and one bank does not know what the other is doing no matter how much money you put through their bank they want to take more for them selves to justify their community grants.

Being a single mum on a low income they picked a product that suited my needs, no fees for using foreign ATMs; I've never had a problem finding atms in my state, but I had recently moved to a more remote area which did not have a bendigo atm but a questionaire was given out seeing how many people in the area, bendigo bank realized there were a few customers in the area who would like their own bank available to them, so an ATM machine was relocated to the area; now they are looking at locating a branch in the area which will be excellent for everyone's banking needs.

On my Account I have no charges to speak of for the use of my Debit card account , the convenience of a Visa card even overseas with no problems.
I have had a loans officer come to my home to discuss a possible loan at short notice.
The staff are always helpful and friendly if I have to go into see them and the EFTPOS Machines are easy to find in shopping centers around Perth and in the country WA.

The bendigo bank savings account is great, low bank fees and charges , but can charge overdraw fee of $30 if account is overdrawn but it still isn't as much as other banks who charge $40 fee.

I have been with this bank going on 7 years and had no problems with them, the team in the parramatta branch are so helpful and friendly, and are willing to go out of their way to help you if you have any problems with your account, I totally reccomend them to any one so far my family and my husbands family and the church I attend have signed up into this bank and have not reget it.

I wanted to open an account with minimal fees - direct debit facilities , debit Visa and a cheqing account with online capabilities, we get screwed around every week have incurred heaps of fees and are changing banks.

This is a very good bank but it could offer a service which could be understood better by people who are not very familiar with financial institutes. For example the interest rates & costs hidden behind any savings accounts which are not highlighted clearly when opening or changing accounts.

Bendigo Bank Savings account is convienient and online banking llows me to see all my accounts at once and no fees to transfer between accounts...and the security key tag means no one can get in my accounts without the authentication code.
