      I have banked with the CUA for the last 32 years. This goes way back to their roots when they started out in a small church hall in Dandenong, then progressing into their Robinson Street Branch when becoming Dandenong Credit Union. Along the way, they have amalgamated with other Credit Unions but have continually provide all the great service that I have come to expect. I have had all my personal loans, car loans, banking with them all will continue to do so in the coming years.

When interest rates went down they sent letters out explaining it all and fees are very low. Whenever i go into bank the staff go out of their way to help and all speak to you like a friend. I can not recomend this bank enough .

      CUA have been excellent in the past 2 years I have had my personal loan. I have needed to increase the loan once last year and process was quick, easy and completely hassle free! I have not had any hidden charges pop up and I can payout my loan ea...       Full review 

      CUA have been excellent in the past 2 years I have had my personal loan. I have needed to increase the loan once last year and process was quick, easy and completely hassle free! I have not had any hidden charges pop up and I can payout my loan early without an exit/early payout fees! They organised my loan insurance and I received my policy in the mail very quickly. I find the only thing with CUA that I don't like is they only direct debit from a CUA account and their savings account isn't very good as you only get 17 free eftpos or withdrawals a month, after that you have to start paying, and they don't have a huge range of REDI teller atms around. Other then that, excellent product & service!!

      This financial institution has very low personal loan rates, whether it is for a secured loan for a car or unsecured for other purposes, combined with no monthly account keeping fees, and no penalty to pay out early. Can't get better than that!       Full review

      I have found CUA were extremely helpful and flexible with my loan repayments when I was struggling with financial difficulties. They offered me options to make things easier and it has worked in both our favours. I have always found banking to be easy with CUA throughout the 14 years I have been with them and don't see myself banking with anyone else in the future.

      This is a terrible car loan company to choose. They took 3 weeks for approval. Each time I had to contact them and tried to push them to get it done. No one would call me up from CUA. After it was approved I was advised to go to the closes...       Full review 

      This is a terrible car loan company to choose. They took 3 weeks for approval. Each time I had to contact them and tried to push them to get it done. No one would call me up from CUA. After it was approved I was advised to go to the closest branch (Randwick) also I had to join as a member that cost $10. Then after that I had to come back again to draw up a cheque for finance. which had to be another day. But I was told they were too busy and couldn't do it for another 3 working days latter. So I decided I had to select the next closest branch which was (Burwood) which i had to take another day off work to do that. SO when we tried to organise everything with the bank to get the bank cheque we were advised that the person that would be handling my case was the manager. Before the cheque was processed I asked a question "if the deal for the car fell through for any reason would there be any problem?" She told us you can cancel it no problem yeah it happens all the time. But we were not advised yes there is a fee for cancellation. She didn't mention anything about any charges if you cancel the loan. When we went to buy the car afterwords the private car owner decided not to sell his car. So i had to cancel the loan and cheque. This is when all the stress started.. No one from any branch knew what to do. It took a week to cancel the loan in which i was charged interest Daily. Plus I put up with all these fees and trouble and extra days of work I had to take off to go to the branch. Now for some reason the branch manager I initially spoke to is busy or not contactable. CUA just doesn't CARE !!!! IT'S the person that takes the loan out that pushes them to get it done. AND I only successfully received feedback from them because I have made complaint here on Mozo. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE CUA. ALSO THEY CAN CHANGE THE RATE ANYTIME! ITS NOT A FIXED RATE!!
