I find that they are quite rude and very abrupt. Once they actually misplace a 700 dollar deposit I had made.It was sorted out eventually, they dont keep you updated you kinder fend for yourself with this particular company. We have never had any problems with the finance side of things hoever.

For a basic product it has a good interest rate and easy to use internet banking page. Joining with the NAB atm network means lots of access to ATM's.
The only bad thing is a lack of physical branches.When you do find one the staff are very friendly and Knowledgable about their products.

I am a member, Not a customer.
They are not there to make money for their shareholders ( I am a shareholder anyway )
They are not greedy. I do not get all the fees and charges that bank customers do.
They have just as many, if not more, checks and balances that banks do.
I feel very safe with a credit union, and almost like part of the family. I am not just a number.

I have banked with Credit Union facilities for over 20 years and with CUA in over 5 years. Internet banking is so much easier with their website easy to access and not 'clogged' with sooo many options, you don't know what to choose (that's so annoying). I can email CUA staff questions about my account and they always reply with helpful information in a timely manner.

With most other banks that I have been with I have been disappointed in their level of service and care for the individual. The CUA is polite, friendly and always willing to help. There was a time, not so long ago, that Someone had tried to use my card online and the bank had frozen the card and contacted me. They Rock.

No account keeping fees, very few excess charges. Helpful and polite staff. I have all of my banking with CUA, including four savings accounts, a personal loan, car insurance, a debit card and a credit card. I trust them because they are small enough to be user friendly but big enough to be competitive.

This product has made such a good impression on me for several reasons. They are, the service I recieve both in the branch and over the phone, the website and webbanker is easy to use and in my time as a member has only been down once or twice (funds transfer between my accounts instantly).
I rate it over my Commonwealth account as I feel CUA are more personal and i feel they care my then the Commonwealth.
I believe I have good fees and never find any hidden costs and ATM's I do see quite often.
The only drawback now is the fact that my branch has recently closed, but they have made the transition very easy and I am yet to come into trouble.
I have no intention in changing banks any time soon, I am content with CUA
