I’ve been banking with commbank for 20+ years, with quite a lot of savings 40K + I don’t get as much interest in my savings account as others who have less and have their money in other banks. There’s no rewards schemes to keep loyal customers around. It’s harder than Ever to find an ATM. And for these reasons I’ll be changing banks before the financial year.
Ever since I was a child I have been a client of the Commonwealth Bank and the main thing about them I have always held in high regard is their focus on great customer service. Although most companies now make it virtually impossible to get through to an actual human customer service representative over the phone, the CBA have maintained their low call wait times and their call centre continues to be based in Australia with representatives consistently providing polite and helpful assistance. Over the years I have encountered several common problems with my accounts (such as lost bank cards, unknown charges, bank fees etc,) and I have always had the issues resolved promptly and fairly. The only downside that comes to mind is their recent cuts of available ATMs and branches but in today's technology era most companies are predominantly going online so it was expected. But overall, I would definitely recommend the CBA to family and friends.
Fantastic bank, never had a problem,Awesome customer care and would recommend this bank to everyone
I’ve been banking with CBA since Dollarmites as a kid (2001) and have remained loyal. I have a few savings accounts and an interest-free credit card that I use. I appreciate their StepPay and AdvancedPay programs which I have used a few times when in need of early access to my income. I have only ever had one dispute over an unauthorised transaction which was handled professionally with many updates regarding the case.
It is an easy and simple app but updates occur a lot and I’m unknown of how to use the app some times with those updates.
Easy and accessible to anyone and everyone.takes 2 seconds to just transfer money to someone they also have great customer Service.
They have terrible customer service and always seem to run into issues with them
CBA is one of the 'Big 4" banks which are mainly interested in profits over individual customer's needs. Saying that, I have been with CBA since school years due to there being no need to change and there being little better in the way of competition. I do value their secure website and feel safe banking with them.
I've always used commonwealth as my bank they have always helped me when I need it the most and the features and the new commyello makes it even more better with cash back options and easy to use app I wouldn't trust any1 else with my money.
When a staff member looks at a screen, and not at the client, it says a good deal about the client not being the centre of everything. CBA may sponsor Women’s cricket, but does not value it customers. The Yello app, very poor indeed.
Pros: - Reliable - Variety of products - Fee-free everyday transactions if you meet conditions - UI/UX excellent - Accessible in person or online Bad - Not the cheapest - Customer service isn't the best - High interest on credit cards.
- great customer service options - great app
