  When it comes to personal loans I think that we could all agree that the banks could do us better rates on interest. Overall the experiences that I have had with the Commonwealth bank has always been good. I find the staff friendly and they were very helpful in the application process, explaining all of the details and conditions clearly. The personal loan was processed quickly, the application took approx 20 minutes and the funds were available the next day!

  This personal loan was great for my needs (to buy a car!) and everything was done online which meant it was easy and simple and I didn't have to go into a branch. My repayments are manageable every fortnight and I can pay more if I want to shorten...       Full review 

  This personal loan was great for my needs (to buy a car!) and everything was done online which meant it was easy and simple and I didn't have to go into a branch.   I had banked with the Commonwealth bank since i was 16. I got a Personal loan through the Commonwealth Bank and insurance. On that loan I paid that insurance for 5 years and then injured myself at work. Now 2 years later i am still awaiting surger...       Full review 

  I had banked with the Commonwealth bank since i was 16. I got a Personal loan through the Commonwealth Bank and insurance. On that loan I paid that insurance for 5 years and then injured myself at work. Now 2 years later i am still awaiting surgery. Commonwealth bank did not honour that insurance and fought me tooth and nail till the end. Until my pain got too much to fight them anymore so i wasted 5 years in insurance payments and the Commonwealth have lost a loyal customer, not that they care as they are not loyal in return. They are very dishonest. I cancelled insurance and closed all accounts with them and have moved to a new bank.

After a quick wait, we were ushered into an office where all our questions were answered and the best offer given to us.
