      Compared to other financial institutions, their everyday savings account is not as competitive. Other institutions offer fee free everyday accounts if you deposit a particular amount per month, CFCU do not offer this and they charge a considerable...       Full review 

      Compared to other financial institutions, their everyday savings account is not as competitive. Other institutions offer fee free everyday accounts if you deposit a particular amount per month, CFCU do not offer this and they charge a considerable amount for monthly fees. I have been with them for over 10 years however and aside from the monthly fees, I would recommend them as a good institution to bank with, especially as there are now more branches, so you have the choice of face to face banking, phone or online.

      I think their fees are extremely high, and with direct debits etc, I sometimes find that the money takes far too long to come out - they just seem to sit in this 'black hole'.       Full review

      The staff and managers are well-trained and very helpful and friendly. After I was scammed, they worked very hard to stop my funds from being stolen. They were able to get my money back almost immediately. Also, Community First Credit Union will contact me if they detect any unusual activity with my account or card. I would never bank with any other financial institution for my personal banking needs and highly recommend them.

      You think a credit union with community in it's name would actually try and do it's best for the customers. They have some fees that are actually more expensive than the big banks. It is one big rip off just like all the others.       Full review

      There are not enough Community First ATM's around so I frequently have to use another ATM to withdraw cash and get $2 each use, which adds up quite quickly! Also the interest rates are not as competitive as other banks.       Full review
