Always willing to go the extra route for customer satisfaction, e.g. when card was debited twice, in a flash HSBC had the money refunded (all I had to do was download a dispute form from the internet, complete and send it back!).

  Pros: Teir website is very easy to navigate Cons: No branches, no one can speak english in the call centers, only 2 ATM's in all of Perth, (Or they share Westpac's) They just replaced my EFTPOS (savings) card with a VISA debit without liasing wit...       Full review

  No annual fees and great service. No indian call centres, just singaporeans who are super polite and helpful. You can use any St George, Westpac and HSBC atm for free and EFTPOS is free. What more could you ask for in a bank.       Full review

  I LOVE this bank, would never have considered it in the past but a promo email drew me to it... I now would never look back from HSBC... ATM convenience (ie Westpac and St George can be used without incurring fees). AND just by having my $2000 dep...       Full review 

  I LOVE this bank, would never have considered it in the past but a promo email drew me to it... I now would never look back from HSBC... ATM convenience (ie Westpac and St George can be used without incurring fees). AND just by having my $2000 deposited into my Debit Card account, I get a bonus $10 - my salary easily makes me hit this mark! Highly recommend this bank!

  The biggest thing that lets the HSBC down is access - both in terms of actual banks and ATMS. And in the modern banking world where we pay a minimum of $2 to use another branches ATM this can work out to be very expensive. However, because the ban...       Full review 

  The biggest thing that lets the HSBC down is access - both in terms of actual banks and ATMS. And in the modern banking world where we pay a minimum of $2 to use another branches ATM this can work out to be very expensive. However, because the bank does offer such great rates and their products are quite good (when compared to other banks), this inconvenience is usually worth it.

  Pros: no bank fees. Cons, it's an online account so you can't go into a bank branch. Only one HSBC branch in the whole of Gold Coast.       Full review

  Used to like HSBC's 5 times a month free ATM withdrawals from any ATM's and their high interest rates. However, they have now changed, and now charge customers for ATM usage unless customers are using ATM's from Westpac or HSBC. Interest rates are...       Full review 

  Used to like HSBC's 5 times a month free ATM withdrawals from any ATM's and their high interest rates. However, they have now changed, and now charge customers for ATM usage unless customers are using ATM's from Westpac or HSBC. Interest rates are also lower than average and there's a $500 daily limit on the debit card, which some times can be annoying.

  I like HSBC because you can get money out of other banks and it does not charge. Cheques do not cost and there are a lot of transactions you can make before it starts charging per month.       Full review
