      In opposition to my bank ANZ, this bank cannot compete. Example for me that mattered was Heritage was going to charge me $4.50 per direct debit as opposed to ANZ's Nil fee. Being on a Disability Support Pension this really mattered a great deal....       Full review 

      In opposition to my bank ANZ, this bank cannot compete. Example for me that mattered was Heritage was going to charge me $4.50 per direct debit as opposed to ANZ's Nil fee. Being on a Disability Support Pension this really mattered a great deal. Also their ATM machines in Toowoomba are renounded for taking your card and keeping it, then, to add insult to injury spits out someone elses card. When you go into the bank to tell them this they say they have no control over their own ATM's take the card and half the time just say OK. No thank-you nothing. They really need to hone and sharpen their personel skills. More people than ever are leaving Heritage all the time as these factors matter.

      Behind the smile is a genuine attempt to meet requests. The staff often allow you to draw on cheques immediately, acknowledging it is not policy but you are a valued customer. They will waive fees without argument and do many things without charge or low cost compared to the service I receive elsewhere. It's been this way for the last twenty years.

      Heritage BS have always been there for me - through major and minor ups and downs. When I had problems, I was directed and guided through varying accounts, suitable for my financial circumstances, with high interest yields and safety, including on line accounts. Always obliging, friendly, amenable and consistently accessible. No question too trivial. Service and support beyond the norm, and I have banked at several of the larger institutions and always come back to Heritage. Totally reliable from every standpoint.

      I have banked with heritage for many years. After I separated from my husband they couldn't have been more helpful when refinancing my home loan; at that time no other bank would look at a single mother or consider family payment as part of my income. The staff are always helpful at my local branch and they offered a range of options when my current partner and I wanted to begin a joint savings account to save for a holiday; helping us to earn the highest interest on our money. I highly recommend Heritage; they are very customer focused.

      I think that they could include more rewards and benefits with their products. I trust Heritage with all my finances and I feel like my money is in good hands. I am very impressed with their customer service and they are always friendly and helpful. Their is nearly always an ATM handy which makes life a lot easier! I quite like Heritage. I'm definitely staying with them and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

      We have used the Heritage Banking service for over 20 years and we have always found them polite, efficient and very reasonable when we have questioned, which is rarely, any charges that we feel were undue. Over the phone or in person the staff have always put us the customer first and are excellent at explaining any of Heritages products. The fees are very competitive and not over the top like a lot of banks we are dealing with now. Give the bigger banks the slip overcharging and unreasonable fees do not exist with Heritage but great service does.

      Heritage is a great option to the big banks. The internet banking is excellent and is up there with all the big banks. Easy to use and you can do pretty much everything. I love the fact you get email alerts and you can send a text message to the bank and get free and instant updates on balances and transactions. I'm going to be a long term customer of this building society from now. Love em.

      I have been a client of this bank for over 50 years now and have introduced my children who were given accounts at an early age to teach saving. I have also introduced a friend to the Term savings at this bank and he was very happy with the result. I have found the staff to be helpful and pleasant and have never been made to wait more than a few minutes for service even when the bank is full of customers. They have also now increased ATM facilities for those of us who travel. I am currently in Tasmania and find the net banking very convenient. I highly recommend this bank.

      I love having many savings accounts for no account keeping fees, however when I wanted to apply for a loan after being with the bank for over 7 years they still weren't able to trust my income or savings even though I had been working the entire time.. not to happy about the lending procedure and the difficulty of being able to lend money after so long.
