I believe the rates are always very competitive and one of the best available. I have had all of my home loans with HBS for the past 35 yrs. I used the services of a mortgage broker about 20 yrs ago and their top recommendation was HBS and so I have comtinued with them. I find them helpful and understanding, ready to listen and make suggestions that relate to my situation.

I cannot talk highly enough about Heritage Building Society. I live in Townsville and we don’t have a physical branch here, however there are never any problems with any of my banking needs, as I am able to do everything over the phone or Internet. I recommend HBS to everyone.

The service we receive is second to none. when we refinance our mortgage the rates they offered us were extremely competitive. Being a smaller banking facility than the others, there is a little more "friendliness" directed to customers.

Good rates and fairly flexible. They still act like the big banks in some ways when it come to raising and lowering rates. Quicker to raise than lower and in some cases raise above the RBA rate.

This is the first financial institution that has wanted to work with me on my finances. Customer services is fantastic, the bank manager rings me. I walk past them and he waves to me. The rates were competitive, the extras were nice but not shoved down my throat.

Heritage has always treated me like a person rather than just a number. Fees are kept to a minimum. I feel like they are not slaves to shareholders like the banks are. The only thing that is difficult is there are not enough branches around.

had only a small issue 2 years back which has been and gone was with only staff member not the bank to be held liable. All other staff are really good with there customer service. They did not pass on the last rate rise which being a single income family really meant alot to us
