      My savings account is awsome! When i first signed up when i was 12 they were really helpful and helped me with everything and they didn't mind. When i turned 18, I had to get an adults savings account so they walked me through everything asked me ...       Full review 

      My savings account is awsome! When i first signed up when i was 12 they were really helpful and helped me with everything and they didn't mind. When i turned 18, I had to get an adults savings account so they walked me through everything asked me questions like whether i was a student so i could get less fees and things like that. They helped me get a debit card and explained everything, from how to use it, from what to do if it gets stolen. They are a great branch and are very helpful and supportive no matter what you need help with. They are always there!

      Dealing with IMB surprised me. Previously with other large banks I'd never experienced the quality of service I've had from IMB. Over the years I've gained a great deal of knowledge about IMB's products, and reading some of these reviews I can tell where people went wrong. the fee (last I knew) for a visa debit card (only on some accounts- others accounts it's free) is $1.60 per month. And it's a solution. The girl at my branch explained to me that if I hit credit instead of savings with the visa, I avoid transactions fees for the transaction. And as for transaction fees each month being too high. If they're higher than $6 change accounts!!!! IMB have an account that is a flat $6 each month so you know what's coming and don't get stung like at other banks. And the Visa Debit is included in that if you want one!! So if you're having those problems go into your local branch and the friendly staff always listen and will find you a solution. Highly recommend IMB

      product is about the same as any other institution, BUT the staff are exceptional (at my branch) the fees they charge for deposits to another institution $5.00 is terrific as opposed to when I tried the Commonwealth Bank and was quoted $20       Full review

      The staff are friendly and accommodating. The serving staff was happy to go through the details with me about the account. I opened up a business account and was surprised that it was done in half hour. Unfortunately there are not many ATM's about from this building society but they do allow a few free transactions a month depending on minimum cash level.

      I like the IMB because it is a building society, is in a convenient position in town, it handles all of my banking needs well, keeps me informed of any new products and the fees are low.Staff always helpful.       Full review

      What I like about IMB is that their customer service is impeccable! What I don't like is their Late Fee's or Dishonesty Fee's are $35 where other places have dropped them from $10 or less.       Full review

Having said that its great to have immediate cheque clearance on regular cheques.

      I don't like the overdrawn fees - they are $40 dollars and I think that it is a bit steep if you are overdrawn just a few dollars. The thing I like is there is no waiting when going into the bank.       Full review

      I have a few old bank accounts with IMB and they wanted to charge me a $20 fee to take the remainder of my money out (it was only $18), plus deposit more money to take the balance over $50 before a withdrawal could be made. I asked to speak to a manager and she was very, very rude about the whole situation. I opted to leave my $18 in there and accrue 1c interest every quarter. Maybe in 50 years I can use the ATM to get my money....
