      ME Bank has no fees, unless you exceed their minimum transaction amounts. Their on-line account pays approx 5% interest on the WHOLE balance and you can move money in and out at will. They are owned by Industry Superannuation Funds so are very saf...       Full review 

      ME Bank has no fees, unless you exceed their minimum transaction amounts. Their on-line account pays approx 5% interest on the WHOLE balance and you can move money in and out at will. They are owned by Industry Superannuation Funds so are very safe. They don't aim to make profits for shareholders so you do not get exorbitant fees being charged. On the minus-side, you have to pay $1 ATM fees, even from their affiliated bank ATM's. I try to use Eftpos 100% of the time. They don't have many branches, but that is OK for me because I do all banking on-line and it reduces the operating costs for the bank,,,,,and hence me. I would never go back to one of the big 4 banks who aim to make billions in profits for shareholders.

      I have always found all ME Bank reps easy to deal with. The only fault I can find is the physical location of a branch but the ease of use of internet banking far outways that fault. I can imagine that an ME Bank branch would be so popular that ...       Full review 

      I have always found all ME Bank reps easy to deal with. The only fault I can find is the physical location of a branch but the ease of use of internet banking far outways that fault. I can imagine that an ME Bank branch would be so popular that the time spent online for any transaction would be a lot quicker than having to wait your turn at a physical branch.

They don't overcharge me, their products are simple, their interest rates rewarding, I find them trustworthy and they seem to respect me and my money. MEBank is what banks should be.

      I changed from Westpac to ME Bank as the fees and charges are less and as I am a HESTA member I am far better off with ME Bank. I have never had any problems with them, the only issue I have ever had is that due to the fact that there are no branches in Perth so deposits need to be made through busy Australia Post offices.

      They offer prompt over the phone customer service and all at a low cost. All it requires is to be a bit more organized with your banking (which we all should be anyway) Cash deposits are a bit difficult but by simply having a Debit Visa with another bank you can then transfer online. as I said it just requires a bit more reorganization and forward planning but it teaches you better banking habits
