      ME Bank is exactly as they claim: the bank for the people. The offer good loan and interest rates - and high quality, in a bank that is, ostensibly a "paperless" bank. They are efficient, their interactive website works well, the staff are always courteous and willing to help. I can think of no reason why people should be wary of dealing with ME bank. I have been with them for about 12 years now and can only speak of them with high regard

      It is with deep regret that I feel the need to give ME Bank a negative report. They claim to be the bank of working Australians supported by many Industry Super Funds & Unions. I was always a little smug when the four big banks were demonised, thinking I was one of the lucky ones. However, I have changed my mind. As is the practice of many Companies, banks , service providers etc, accounts due over the Christmas break are usually sent out before time or give a period of grace, taking into account the holiday period. However, not ME Bank for 2011/2012. I left for holidays 23/12/11, not having received my ME statement, returned on 7/1/12, collected mail, ME Statement due 4/1/12 was promptly paid in full 9/1/12. For the few days late payment I was charged interest, plus late payment fee. I consider this was a blatant money grab which would have affected numerous "working Australians." I consider this was a low act, not in keeping with their principles.

      I like that their interest rate is lower than the major banks, saving me more! And I like that they have 44 interest free days and a low annual fee. I dislike that they only have a few branches in Melbourne. However I can use most Australia Pos...       Full review 

      I like that their interest rate is lower than the major banks, saving me more! And I like that they have 44 interest free days and a low annual fee. I dislike that they only have a few branches in Melbourne. However I can use most Australia Post outlets to deposit cash, which is convenient. I like their internet banking facility (it's very user-friendly) and the other range of products the have on offer, they're very competitive. Overall, very satisfied with ME Bank!
