  In 2011 my husband and I separated after 20 years of marriage. We have loans for 1 residence and 4 rental properties with ME. I can't tell you how helpful and patient ME have been in helping us through what has been a terrible and stressful time. Although the separation has been amicable it could have been much worse without the support of our financial institution. It has been over a year now and they are still hanging in with us as we try to divest our investments and I would just like to say a big thank you.

  No fuss. No paying for added extras. Very flexible with paying off early. consistently lower interest rates than big banks. Make extra payments over the phone.       Full review

  Although they don't have a direct branch, access is good, ATM's numbers through St George and Westpac make it easy. Redraw facility is good.       Full review

  I feel safe using this bank we have all accounts with them, when I used my credit card on paypal a few times in the one day they rang me to check if it was me using it. They have a redraw facility with the home loan. Customer service is very go...       Full review

  None of the things people whinge about because of their bank are an issue for this organisation. No nasty fine print, no fees, no line ups, no arrogance, no huge profit declarations on the back of staff standowns, overseas employment, fee increase...       Full review 

  None of the things people whinge about because of their bank are an issue for this organisation. No nasty fine print, no fees, no line ups, no arrogance, no huge profit declarations on the back of staff standowns, overseas employment, fee increases or management/director salary increases, not to mention obscene salaries at board and CEO levels.   The offset account arrangement is great as it is very flexible. Make sure you've done all your renovations, gone overseas, bought your new car, etc before you pay off your loan. Get yourself a credit card and pay all your bills etc with it and hav...       Full review 

  The offset account arrangement is great as it is very flexible. Make sure you've done all your renovations, gone overseas, bought your new car, etc before you pay off your loan. Get yourself a credit card and pay all your bills etc with it and have the full amount paid off every month automatically, just before the due date. This means that your savings remain untouched and instead of earning interest, they reduce your loan.

  M.E bank is my bank! I didn't even have to leave the house to apply for my homeloan. A friendly mobile lender visited me at a time that was convenient (when the kids were in bed) and completed the necessary paperwork. Easy no fuss and very compete...       Full review
