  I was having a lot of trouble financially and my last bank did not seem to have the time to sit down with me to help me work on a buget plan. I moved to a different bank who put in heaps of time and effort to give me accounts that suited my budget plus clearing sll the debts i had incurred .   Mystate Financial has always been very helpful and friendly with their in-branch service in all the branches I have visited, making face-to-face transactions and account setup comfortable and straight-forward. The ATMs are easy to use and I have never had a problem with one in the 4 years I have used them twice weekly or so. New customers should be aware that the MyState is relatively new in its current form, being recently privatised. However, that said, during the privatisation process my family encountered no problems and in fact gained from it. The value of the bank is increasing as its shares continue to rise steadily. MyState has as many options as any other bank in terms of accounts and the customer service is top notch. Overall, out of all the banks I have had contact with, MyState is my favourite.

  MyState used to have a flat rate account keeping fee on all transaction accounts, without notifying their customers, they changed this to a certain amount of "free" transactions for your monthly account fee, and then every transaction after that w...       Full review 

  MyState used to have a flat rate account keeping fee on all transaction accounts, without notifying their customers, they changed this to a certain amount of "free" transactions for your monthly account fee, and then every transaction after that would be charged at around 85c. The amount of free transactions is dependent on how large your financial relationship is with My State. I dont like that they didn't notify their customer base about this before it happened, nor do I like being charged for using my own money. I originally changed to MyState specifically because they had a flat rate fee and now I am looking to leave them and go to another financial institution because of this change.

  Mystate has evolved over time to become quite a good everyday bank, but there are some failings, I was unable to access my bank information while overseas for two and a half years! This caused problems. Recently I was offered an upgrade on my credit card which was a shocking bad deal, I think it should have been vetted by the bank

  My main dislike of this product are the bank charges, which I don't think should be applied. I love their option of being able to have a debit card that can be used as a credit card when needed.       Full review

  As I live in a different state than my bank, when I ring up the staff are always very helpful. There are ATMs that I could use. Anything that is happening with the bank, they ensure they inform the stakeholders.       Full review

  After banking with the big banks I was looking for that personal touch and they have provided that, I do a lot of banking via the phone and having the same customer service people look after me has been great,as sometimes the old phone credit aint...       Full review
