  Customer service not too bad but the fees & charges on savings & on business accounts are not the best. With business accounts they don't offer the visa debit. They just try to get you to take the credit card or offer you an overdraft (with all their charges) rather than give the small business man a bit of a chance to at least make a start rather than going straight into "owing the bank" money.   I was with the NAB for many years and 2-3 years ago the lost the plot! We found it very difficult to deal with them and they rarely contact me at all! They did not even realise that I had closed all but one of my accounts with them for around 6-8m...       Full review

  Had a large amount to invest so on the recommendation of an NAB customer service rep, I put it into an iSaver account. The interest return has been great - unfortunately the tax dept. also think this. :(       Full review

  I like my NAB Classic Banking account as it provides an easy to use banking service, without the fees some other banks charge. Straight away after opening my account I was able to open a savings account to link to it, at no additional cost. Having this makes it easy to transfer funds at any time, without any hassle. One of the main draw-cards for me in opening my NAB Classic Banking account was the Visa Debit Card included, which allowed me to pay bills and do some online shopping quickly and easily at any time of the day or night... a huge plus as it meant I didn't have to struggle against the crowds at Christmas! Customer service has been great so far; any questions I've had have been answered promptly and with a minimum of fuss. Overall, I feel opening my Classic Banking account was a great decision; one that I would recommend to anyone looking to open a bank account in the future.

  The product is NAB's retirement account. There are no fees on this account even if it gets overdrawn. I have an isaver account attached and shift money from the account to the iSaver so as to keep most of my money at the highest interest rate. The staff at my local branch are very helpful and call me by name. I do most of my banking and bill payments online which is very convenient as it can be done any time. Payments can easily be made in advance so that they are not forgotten. To date I have always found an ATM wherever I am which is great when I need cash. I would happily recommend NAB retirement account to all retirees.

  Having moved to a country town of Wingham from Sydney my wife and I were super impressed with the knowledge and help the local branch staff gave us, they understood our needs and recommended other things to us so that we cold make informed decisions on our complete banking needs.   I have the classic bank account, and it has no monthly fees or dishonour fees also it is easily accessible as u have branches, online banking and phone banking, the service is great, on the phone you are not waiting for ever and to top it off they...       Full review 

  I have the classic bank account, and it has no monthly fees or dishonour fees also it is easily accessible as u have branches, online banking and phone banking, the service is great, on the phone you are not waiting for ever and to top it off they are always helpful. Also the card provided is a visa debit card which has no loans, no debt just your money (pay) etc, you can chose from different colour cards also with is awesome.

  I went with NAB because it had the highest paying interest rates for my savings account, and because my family switched to them; so it's easier for all of us to bank together. The main thing I dislike is with the online banking system. If you want more than 100 days of transaction history you have to switch to not receive paper statements which I didn't like.   When a customer has a number of accounts such as home loan, savings, credit card and investment loan, the possibility to transfer money between the accounts is denied. Only one account is allowed to accept transfers from other occounts and transfer to other accounts. This presents a lot of waisted time and additional transfers to achieve a simple transfer between two accounts. Eg: To transfer from account 1 to 3 you need to transfer from account 1 to 2 then from account 2 to 3. Very time waisting.

  I like NAB because the convenience of the number of branches and teller machines around is amazing. Usually, when I need cash, there's always a NAB teller machine around so i dont get stung $2.50 fee using another banks machine!:)       Full review

  No fees! Awesome. Teller machines everywhere, even better... I love my bank account. It costs me nothing. I never have to pay to access my money, there's always a NAB machine in sight :)       Full review
