I asked for personel loan to pay off credit card, as I have had an accident and used it to much. They refused. They are only interested in getting interest on credit card. Not on your welfare.

It is not necessarily the product , but the business banker that was involved, does not return call it has taken over 9 weeks to get to this stage which is not complete as of today.
Once this is complete I will call a meeting with the branch Manager and ask to be moved to another business banker or I will be shopping around other banks. I have been with this bank for more than 25years, they are holding two of my titles on commercial property with an outstanding amount of $220K, more than enough equity for them.

This product doesn't allow for room to move. Like house renovations or if you are just sprucing up the house to sell it. How do I go to the local market to buy some plants or other things with cash? I need to get an invoice first then get a bank cheque then purchase. The plants are now dead the trees are 10 metres tall. Not at all inviting for some things.

I had a personal loan with NAB and I have to say that I don't think I have ever had such bad customer support from any company like theirs. Many times they mucked up details, changed fixed rate interest and tried to tell me that it was that from the beginning even when I had proof. Their insurance policy was not made very clear and we were extremely mislead on the insurance and couldn't claim when me needed to. When I signed up to the loan we were told what we could claim the insurance for which ended up being a total lie, they were so quick with signing us up and didn't care how they did it as long as they got us. I am extremely glad to have my loan payed out and no longer a costumer with them.

I also do my business banking with nab and love them but since I went into a branch and tried to get a personal loan I have had a number of problems as the lady I applied for the loan with is always with someone when I call and she has only ever called me back once.

The customer service at Toowong NAB was disgraceful. I delivered everything to them on time, despite their promises they did not call within 48 hours, let alone a week. When they did call they were rude and unhelpful.

I give the National Bank Loans team a big thumbs down because they keep lending money even when they can see that the person is struggling to pay back their current loan. I had a Busness Loan through the NAB and each time my husband went to acquire more money on the loan it was approved.Unfortunately this was one of the factors considered when we were forced to file for voluntary bankruptancy in March of this year.

I dislike this product because it has monthly account keeping fees. I would like these fees to be transferred to my everyday account so that interest does not accrue on them.

I am really unaware of the pricing and competitive rates of personal loans with other banks but overall I am very happy with my personal loan at NAB. NAB recently closed there branch near my work but I use the telephone banking option for most of my payments and I really like NAB. I have previously banked with Commonwealth and Westpac. But would never deal with them again. I have been banking with NAB for about 10 years and never thought to ask them for a personal loan - had previously gone to a finance company and had paid far too much.

i like the bank because they have all ways been there for me helping me all the way helping to aim for my goal but there are things to be wary of do your home work as banks can tie you up on things you don't wont find out the best interest and loans you have to payback
