      I have recently refinanced and gone with Newcastle Permanent as the bank that I had my previous home loan with, weren't offering me a cheaper interest rate after having already had my loan with then for five years. Having been a customer for nearly 9 years at that stage. I do most of my banking via the internet now so the fact that there is no physical branch near me doesn't bother me. I have found their customer support over the phone to be excellent, (and english speaking!!) I have only been with them for a short time but can't fault there service, and their interest rate was the most competitive I could find me match my needs.

      I have been very happy with this building society over the time we have been in business together. They have provided excellent service and the best home loan rate for my needs. I trust building societies but I do not trust the banks and their extra hidden fees. Also the credit union opening hours and convient locations is fantastic for doing business face to face.

      The Newcastle Permanent have great customer service and great products. The people at the branch level cannot do enough for you and the phone service is second to none. Whenever you have a query or problem they are only too happy to help and work out the best solution for your problem. Overall their interest rates and low charges beat the big banks hands down. Newcastle Permanent are a pleasure to do business with.

      The Newcastle Permanent was the only organization that gave me a home loan. At the time I was employed with the NSW Police Force and was receiving a very good wage. I could not understand why other organizations would not give me a loan. The Newcastle Permanent was friendly and gave me detailed information on how the loan would be paid off. The branch members were all very friendly and that is why I will stay and always stay a faithful member of the Perm. I have paid the loan off about 3 years ago but I still do all my banking with the Perm.

      I like the home loan in Newcastle permanent simply because the assistance my husband and I have been receiving from the very start is superb. We always receive an update through mail when there are changes in interest rates that we need to know. It is our first time to have a loan and my husband and I are kinda confused in everything but then again we receive and get all the support that we need. Until now they are still helping us to get our first home grant. Its always good to continue receiving help and support from the Newcastle specially for someone who has no idea what to do like me and my husband.
