  I love it as they have competitive interest rates and they give you a realistic credit limit. As someone once said to me, it's enough to get you out of trouble but not enough to get you into trouble.       Full review

  The perm is a local, trusted and respected building society! I personally love it, I am never charged fees, the customer service is beyond helpful and I know I can always trust them! The only con is that they do not have ATMs or service desks outs...       Full review 

  The perm is a local, trusted and respected building society! I personally love it, I am never charged fees, the customer service is beyond helpful and I know I can always trust them! The only con is that they do not have ATMs or service desks outside of Newcastle but nothing that I cannot live without as I can use a westpac ATM at no charge if out of town.

  The Newcastle Perm Car Loan is just that ...a car loan. No bells and whistles needed. Borrow for a car, don't default and the deal is done. Each week I paid extra so the loan was finished well before the expiry. There were no penalties for this ...       Full review

  A great rate offered but a major issue was that our netbank info was sent to us before they had activated our account which left us a bit worried and also all of our post such as new credit cards, access codes and all new customer correspondence w...       Full review 

  A great rate offered but a major issue was that our netbank info was sent to us before they had activated our account which left us a bit worried and also all of our post such as new credit cards, access codes and all new customer correspondence was getting sent to the wrong address because someone had entered it into their system incorrectly! Very dangerous and could have been an expensive insurance claim for them! They were also not very apologetic when told about their mistake.

  Staff are always friendly and helpful. The interest rate for the Rapid saver is very good but cant be used as an everyday withdrawal account or you wont receive that interest.Online banking is very convenient and transferring money is a breeze as ...       Full review

The interest rate for the Rapid saver is very good but cant be used as an everyday withdrawal account or you wont receive that interest.Online banking is very convenient and transferring money is a breeze as is B Pay.The only problem that can arise is that branches are not everywhere and you need to rely on ATM or eftpos.

  Everything was fine until I discovered you get better rates if you live on the North Coast. So much for looking after their loyal Newcastle customers.
