  I thought I had too much debt to be considered for a personal loan as I could barely make ends meet every week to meet all my commitments. I was blown away when I spoke to a loan consultant who said yes we can help you. Not only are my debts gone, my loan repayments are less than half of what I was putting out each week. At the same time I discovered I was eligible for a fee free account, so my savings are in the vicinity of $5000/yr. Now my savings are steadily growing instead of being constantly depleted. Wish I'd done it a few years ago and saved myself a lot of stress and money!! The interest rate is relatively low and as per advice payed that little extra to safeguard the possibility of becoming unemployed and not able to make payments on loan

  They have shown the personal touch in every way and been forever heplful. They travelled to our house in the country just so i could purchase my vehicle at my lesiure. This is the model on which lending Institutions should be formed.       Full review

  I have been with this credit union for 10 years. I have a fantastic credit history, no black marks against my name whatsoever, and earn $50 000 a year. I applied for a $20 000 loan over a 7 year period. The person I spoke to was rude, obnoxious, ...       Full review 

  I have been with this credit union for 10 years. I have a fantastic credit history, no black marks against my name whatsoever, and earn $50 000 a year. I applied for a $20 000 loan over a 7 year period. The person I spoke to was rude, obnoxious, and told me that my loan application was denied because they didn't think it was affordable for me. The loan would have come to $100 a week, when I easily have $300-$400 spending money left over a week. Not to mention my savings. I thought the service was disgusting, and I found the fact that they asked me things like how much I spent on Christmas presents to be completely ridiculous. Since the merger of Savings and Loans and Australian Central this credit union has gone to hell in a hand-basket. I am already in the process of changing to another bank. My husband and my family are in the process of doing the same thing.

  From the moment I made an enquiry I was given a helping hand in understanding the sort of loan that would be suitable for my needs as well as understanding the various types of loans in the market and their conditions. Not once did I feel pressured to take out my loan with them, yet they bent over backwards to ensure I felt informed and satisfied with the information I was given. People's Choice were extremely accommodating and flexible with their meeting with me, to the extent of shuffling appointments to fit me in straight away. In the past; dealing with financial institutions have been a daunting and intimidating experience but People's Choice have given me renewed confidence. I am a very happy member!

  I like that when you get a personal/car loan you can pay of in less time with no penalties and just a very small fee. One of the pros will have to be that you don't get charged any bank fees a month, I havent found any cons with this bank as I hav...       Full review

  I usually experienced good customer service, however, on one occassion the customer service was very poor with the bank breaking a promise they made which ended up in a legal process. I received a call from another case manager recently and she harrassed me, asking numerous personal questions that were inappropriate. I told her i was at work and could not keep talking, but she kept asking me personal questions which i did not appreciate. Apart from that, i found them the best bank in regards to easy approval, lighter loan criteria and interest rates.

  I think they did a wonderful job in setting up my personal loan, i was only 18 at the time and wanted a car. they advised me that becasue of my age it would be cheaper to get a personal rather than a car loan as the intrest rates would be lower and therfore my repayments would be lower. it's now 4 years later and its payed off but i still had another 2 more years of repayments.

  i like the fact that they give u a fortnightly installment plan and they deduct their money straight from ur pay so u dont have to worry about it every fortnight. and if u miss a payment they dont give u additional fees on top..       Full review

  I felt that I was tricked into signing the form that covers me if I lose my job, have an accident or die. I had already told them that I have that insurance with my super, but they still put it in the contract. I was disappointed.       Full review

  These guys have just been AMAZING with me. They had THE best interest rate for 5yr personal loan over 20k. Every time I call I speak to a real person. I can pay the min. amount or pay more. I will try and use these guys a bit in the future.       Full review

  It takes forever to pay off personal loans. You keep paying off the interest not the loan. I think there should be lower interest rates for large loans at Savings and Loans.       Full review
