      Qantas home load rate is at 7.29% while the big banks are offering 7.0 to 7.2%. Qantas has not made contact to advise how you can pay the loan off faster, or while i was working overseas to offer tax advice and savings advice so your security is b...       Full review 

      Qantas home load rate is at 7.29% while the big banks are offering 7.0 to 7.2%. Qantas has not made contact to advise how you can pay the loan off faster, or while i was working overseas to offer tax advice and savings advice so your security is better and understood when you return. With all the other fees and charges on withdrawals because there are less physical branches, there is no time like the present to change lender.

      They tend to be one of the last banks to raise their rates and do not go past the recommended rate. Having accounts helps as the interest is offset against any saving you may have. No annual fees or exit fees. Don't know yet about negatives may fi...       Full review

      I like this product as it is very simple and up front, there are no hidden costs. It does not have lots of fancy extras but that keeps the costs to a minimum. For someone like me who mostly has simple banking needs and doesn't want to be surprise...       Full review 

      I like this product as it is very simple and up front, there are no hidden costs. It does not have lots of fancy extras but that keeps the costs to a minimum. For someone like me who mostly has simple banking needs and doesn't want to be surprised with hidden charges Qantas credit union is perfect. However, I have just had to use a big bank temporarily as I needed a one off bridging loan which Qantas credit union unfortunately doesn't offer. The experience has made me realise how great it is to usually be able to have a simple straightforward experience with Qantas credit union. Credit unions are all about keeping costs down, but if your security is tight or you need to stretch your borrowing budget or you expect to change properties regularly it's probably not for you.

      QSCU has looked after us like silk worms. The staff are like family ( well we all work for the big same company ) they remember my face and call me by my first name. When we have had questions, they don't mind spending a good hour on the phone making sure we are doing what we want and that we understand everything. They have no fees and are very flexible. I really feel like we are all looking out for each other, whereas with my other bank you know it's all about the bottom line. These are just not sweeping statements, I have had experiences!
