  Cheapest I have found from all of the major insurance companies, and their complete care package goes one step further, with monthly payments not costing any extra, and extra benefits for the customer.       Full review

  There are better policies around. I reported storm damage but decided against making a claim. The report stayed on my statement for years as though I had had a crash. The customer service operator said I could retract my claim at any time - yea...       Full review 

  There are better policies around. I reported storm damage but decided against making a claim. The report stayed on my statement for years as though I had had a crash. The customer service operator said I could retract my claim at any time - yeah right! Other than that incidence, the cost is comparable to other companies. My father had a good experience with RACV when he wrote off his vehicle they towed it to the garage and fixed it like new. So I guess it depends on the operator you get or perhaps their supervisor. My experience happened later than his so they may have changed their policy?

  I don't like RACV.. I LOVE THEM. I've had to file a few claims, especially in recent years as my family have been beginning to learn the rules of driving and they have been incredibly quick to respond. Their customer service is superb, making me feel much less stressed than before I ring them up. I trust them 110%, they have never once let me down. I believe that their costs are perfect for the cover that I get and I always recommend them to families looking for new car insurance for either the first time OR if they're wishing to switch.

  I switched to RACV last time my policy was due for renewal as I had been with AAMI for years and their rates just kept going up and up.
