      It took over 2 weeks of trying & arguing with staff at Rabo to open an account before giving up. All the forms were correct, no problem there. I wanted one account, they opened 2 & refused to close the 2nd (unwanted) one. The $1 transfer to prove ...       Full review 

      It took over 2 weeks of trying & arguing with staff at Rabo to open an account before giving up. All the forms were correct, no problem there. I wanted one account, they opened 2 & refused to close the 2nd (unwanted) one. The $1 transfer to prove the initial account (CBA) existed took 3 shots over 2 weeks. 4 calls to support to try to get it sorted was were a waste of time. One email from them was so cryptic their support manager couldn't follow it. When I finally convinced them I'd had enough & to close it, they approved it immediately so my larger tranfer went through - with the claim they couldn't stop it. It took another week to get it back. I would NOT recommend this bank to anyone.

      Raboplus offers very competitive interst rate, and the security is so far the best in the market. However, it may be too complicated for some old folks as you need to remember the steps and provide different PINs during the authentication process...       Full review 

      Raboplus offers very competitive interst rate, and the security is so far the best in the market. However, it may be too complicated for some old folks as you need to remember the steps and provide different PINs during the authentication process. Again, this is only for small depositer as you can't transfer more then $10k a day.

      Everything just ticks along perfectly ... no problems, good interest rates paid (Term and Savings accounts). Occasional newsletters received online to announce new interest rates or to talk about their ongoing high global ratings (ie: AAA) and the outcomes of any interim audits. So reassuring that a bank can get the simple stuff right (ie: calculations and customer service)!

      I was attempting to alter my linked account, but Rabodirect requires that you prove your previous account was closed first. Why does it matter if its closed? They did not accept a stamped letter from the branch confirming I was the account owner, and on 3 separate occasions I was given different information regarding what they would accept. I have waited almost 2 months to access my own funds. I am closing my account with RaboDirect as soon as I sort this out. When I asked for multiple call backs and to speak to a manager, I received no response what so ever.

      I opened an account- online- back when these type of accounts were not well known. Also Rabo was not well known in Oz at that time. I researched Rabo and found it was a very large Dutch bank- involved in financing agriculture all over the World MOST IMPORTANTLY it had an AAA credit rating which is better than banks in Ausralia., especially throuh the GFC. It has consistently been very competitive with its return on investment in its On Line savings account

      I like that this company provides internet only banking, with excellent interest rates and extremely secure processes. The savings account can be easily linked to any other bank account for ease of transfering money in or out. Their security is second to none, and the decice you are sent out to ensure only authorised banking occurs is amazing technology. I feel confident in this bank, secure and happy with the interest rates my savings earn. Definitely recommended for internet savvy customers!

      Was really easy and fast to set up. I found their staff friendly and helpful. I found their website really easy to use although I must admit I couldn't work out the finer points of how to transfer funds in. But they were easy to contact by phone and helped me with that. I really like the little plastic device. Good for peace of mind with security and a bit of a novelty too.
