Customer service when I first applied for a personal loan to consolidate my credit card debts was great, really helpful, and reasonably responsible for a bank. Great with flexibility of payments, i.e. freezing repayments in hard times, they were very understanding. I was quite happy that I was accepted for my loan as I did not have too much of a credit history. I had chosen a variable interest rate which went up with the rate hikes but I am still waiting on the low interest to still reflect on my loan. As much as my family has banked with St George for over 40 years, the only reason I am with them is because of the Get Set Loan that they offer and convenience.
