  I have been a customer of several banks during my lifetime. Since joining Suncorp 3 years ago, I have not been able to fault their service. In addition I have been very impressed by similar positive feedback from friends and relatives regarding their experience. The feedback via the media with regard to Suncorp's customer service and support provided throughout the devestating 2011 flood in Queensland further confirmed my decision to remain with Suncorp for banking and insurance coverage.

  I recently had a transaction hit both my savings account and my credit card. A real person over the phone was very helpful in figuring out what had occurred and waived a substantial fee. Within minutes after it became clear an honest mistake on my part involving a third party online transaction facility had taken place.   It is a good card but was disappointing that the fee went up from $99 to $120 pa. I also find it difficult to get rewards have to go to website that has a directory of rewards but don't know how to actually turn point into rewards very complicated...       Full review

  SunCorp's credit card works for me as i was talking to the PERSON on the phone and i told them that i was not interested in spending any money on my credit card but to use it purely to pay off my debt and they respected that. I've never swiped...       Full review 

  SunCorp's credit card works for me as i was talking to the PERSON on the phone and i told them that i was not interested in spending any money on my credit card but to use it purely to pay off my debt and they respected that.   Not only can I claim everyday rewards with my everyday rewards card, but I can use my credit card to accumulate frequent flyer points so we can get rewards twice as quick. Our local branch is packed with local people that know you by name and its always FUN to go to the bank - amazing! FUN at a bank.   I do like this product, I wouldn't change at the moment. The rates are nice and competitve, that's what got me into it in the first place. Maybe the extras and rewards are less than what you get from their competitors. But the price pays itself of...       Full review

Maybe the extras and rewards are less than what you get from their competitors. But the price pays itself off and is better in the long term. Its a simple, straight forward, no frills product.   Make enquiries as to interest rates and add-ons, the one product can vary quite a lot and it is not advertised or information volunteered. Also unless you physically go into a branch and start asking questions, once you are a customer no further information is forwarded regarding any way of lowering fees. Depending on the Branch I found different levels of staff assistance. I have experienced going to one branch and being told there was no alternative, go to another branch and the staff was extremely helpful and a suitable substitute found. I would advise people to possibly talk to people/friends/family on what branch they are dealing with and what level of assistance and efficiency they experienced - get feedback before making any decisions. Once a good branch found, continue to deal with that branch - I have.
