  I love my TCU credit card. It has one of the lowest interest rates, and is so easy to transfer money over to from my savings account when I'm out shopping. ;) I love the security of shopping online and instore with TCU. They are very dilligent with checking strange transactions, and swift to recitify any problems. The only con I can find with the card is that there is no rewards program, but that might be a good thing because I think those programs encourage you to spend more!

  The Teachers Credit Union is not like a bank, it's more like a mothers group morning tea. When I applied for my car loan and I mentioned I was trying to reduce the borrowed amount as much as possible the lady said "Well that's very sensible, I tried to get my son to do the same but he just wants his fancy car not matter how much it costs him...". I was almost expecting a "back in my day" story. Never the less this Credit Union is operated extremely well and has a very warm, homely feeling whenever I need to deal with them. Also, their branch has free juice poppers... I challenge anyone to find me another bank that has that, the only thing missing is some play equipment and a sick bay!

  I have had a TCU savings account since I was a child, and have never had to pay fees! I love that by simply having my pay deposited each month, I avoid an account keeping fee. The atm and eftpos transaction limits are very generous, and the TCU ar...       Full review 

  I have had a TCU savings account since I was a child, and have never had to pay fees! I love that by simply having my pay deposited each month, I avoid an account keeping fee. The atm and eftpos transaction limits are very generous, and the TCU are great with identifying fraudulent transactions and dealing with them quickly. I would say though that the only downside is the lack of TCU dedicated ATMs and branches. If you are happy to do all banking online and over the phone (which is more convenient I feel), then TCU is great.

  Teachers Credit Union's savings accounts are the best. I have had low fees, easy and secure online banking, Phone banking is quick and easy, in person the staff are readily available to assist any questions you may have, they offer free poppers to all members and guests!
