      I love my TCU credit card. It has one of the lowest interest rates, and is so easy to transfer money over to from my savings account when I'm out shopping. ;) I love the security of shopping online and instore with TCU. They are very dilligent wit...       Full review 

      I love my TCU credit card. It has one of the lowest interest rates, and is so easy to transfer money over to from my savings account when I'm out shopping. ;) I love the security of shopping online and instore with TCU. They are very dilligent with checking strange transactions, and swift to recitify any problems. The only con I can find with the card is that there is no rewards program, but that might be a good thing because I think those programs encourage you to spend more!

      In terms of fees and charges the Teachers Credit card is competitive however the customer serice element is non-existent. Once you have signed up they don't want to know you and if you have a problem you can forget getting any help from the credit...       Full review 

      In terms of fees and charges the Teachers Credit card is competitive however the customer serice element is non-existent. Once you have signed up they don't want to know you and if you have a problem you can forget getting any help from the credit union. There is only one branch - in Homebush. Aside from that you need to use internet banking, which is fine except that they seem to have constant problems with their website meaning that the internet banking option goes out the window. Definitely not happy!

      LIKE: I found that this credit card had one of the lowest rates around, being about 6 - 10% lower than traditional banking institutions in the market. Additionally, when we ran into trouble on our holiday because my employer didn't pay my expected wage, the TCU heard our plight and rapidly approved a credit limit increase to tide us over. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is sick of paying bank fees, receiving poor or insensitive service and wants a banking institution that actually does care about its members.

      Their VISA credit card is very inflexible, their advertised up to 55 days is calculated in such a convoluted way that it is almost never 55 days more like 25 days. Their terms and conditions are correct, though you need a degree in mathematics and...       Full review 

      Their VISA credit card is very inflexible, their advertised up to 55 days is calculated in such a convoluted way that it is almost never 55 days more like 25 days. Their terms and conditions are correct, though you need a degree in mathematics and another in Law to really know what it is. On top of that, it has no loyalty program, no points, no anything and the interest rate isn't that fantastic either, especially when knowing it is issued by a Credit Union and not a commercial bank.
