      Recently purchased my first home and they couldn't have been more helpful. They showed how I could reduce my costs, made me aware of govt subsidies and went out of their way to explain the whole process. They advised me on the pros and cons of fixed and variable interest rates and helped me work out which was best for my needs. Once the purchase was completed they rang me to check that I was happy with their service and gave me a number to call if I had any questions. Their interest rates are very competitive with the big banks AND they pass on Reserve Bank interest rate cuts!!

      The credit union seems to care more about its members. They are not just out to make a profit. They reduce home loan interest rates whenever the reserve bank does, have no hidden fees or penalties and allow members to pay off loans early through a...       Full review 

      The credit union seems to care more about its members. They are not just out to make a profit. They reduce home loan interest rates whenever the reserve bank does, have no hidden fees or penalties and allow members to pay off loans early through an interest calculated on daily balance account with a redraw facility. In this way our money is working for us to pay of the loan sooner instead of sitting in a low interest bearing savings account.

      This credit union has professional staff who are knowledgable about their products. They are patient and provide great follow up serrvice. It was the easiest loan to apply for and we now have not only our personal banking with this credit union, but also our home loan and our business, as well as our daughters investment account. I am confident with this credit union and have recommended them to all of my family and friends.

      Initially, I was impressed, then I realised that they are not flexible to rates, they match all the big banks when rates go up but slower when they go down. Other lenders will negotiate rates and would give you special rates, they do not and th...       Full review 

      Initially, I was impressed, then I realised that they are not flexible to rates, they match all the big banks when rates go up but slower when they go down. Other lenders will negotiate rates and would give you special rates, they do not and their First Home Loan rate is in the top 1/3 it terms of how high it is. Considering that this is a Credit Union and not bank, do not have shareholders that need to give dividends to, yet is considerably large bank with good assets, their rates are not that impressive. Eventually, I will get my act together and move my home loan elsewhere.
