  This product charges a mega amount of interest. Even if you pay off the designated amount each month there is always some fee that applies. I find this product too expensive for the awards offered. Even the awards are not that special. Some are in the form of products and they are already superceeded in the market place by others yet the points asked do not reflect this.   This card has not cost me one cent and has very helpful customer service. When I was worried about internet web site direct debiting they helped me and reassured me. I had a fee waived once when I made a late payment. I will never change this bank...       Full review

  Firstly i would like to say the staff are wonderful very helpful and polite also friendly. When somebody got my credit card details and maxed out my credit card $3000, the staff at Westpac were so wonderful in helping me and going through all the process in detail with me so that i could understand.   Well I have to say, Westpac have the best customer service. We had our local bank manager ring us personally to tell us the progress of our credit card application... just the application progress!!!! And then personal calls to notify us it was approved. I have never had any other banks manager call us for any reason in the past. We feel very safe and confident with this kind of service... thank you westpac.

  Just recently we our card had been hacked into and Westpac were absolutly fantastic.The problem was immediately dealt with and with no inconvenience to us.   It charge me $5 immediately after over credit limit. I didn't realize I was over limit when I used it. If I knew, I wouldn't use it. It should charge the fee on the statement date.       Full review

  When I took out this credit card, it was owned by Virgin. Westpac took over the card and increased interest rates immediately. Now that I don't owe them anything they keep making offers of low interest rates in order to get my business.       Full review

  I've never had problems with this product. It's a Visa card, which is recognised pretty well everywhere, I get versatile reward points, which I have put to good use. The yearly fee may be a little higher than other similar products, but I have the card swept every month and don't pay interest. I like being with a big bank, because they are more advanced technoligically and it's been easier to operate on my cards overseas and I find the bank operates very efficiently when I ring them.

  I find that having a Gold Master Card is very convenient. I do not have to carry as much cash around with me. I always pay my Master Card on time so I do not have to worry about what rate the interest is set at. As far as fees go, I put enough transactions on my card so that I do not have to pay an annual fee, which is a saving. There is one aspect of the Master Card that I am totally against and that is the fact that transactions under a certain figure do not have to have a signature or have the pin number entered.
